Well, there are many places I could go to burn off my fat. Sure I could go to a gym and pay hundreds of bucks to use their equipment. But I purely believe the best kind of exercise is the hardcore ones you do on your own.
Thats why I go to Regional Park in Cerritos. The park is huge. I'll start off running around the whole park for an hour (which is a few miles long). However, to cool down a bit after my job, I'll stroll leisurely to one of the tennis courts and play tennis with a friend. When I'm not in the mood for tennis, I'll work across the whole park and play basketball in one of the outdoor courts instead. Sometimes you can play basketball in the indoor courts too, if there are no activities going on. If I just want to exercise lightly, I can walk around the park, but I would prefer to walk around the huge lake that centers the park. The lake is home to a lot of wildlife, including fish, turtles, and birds.
Sure, this park has no gym, but it's a great place to work out and exercise by running/jogging/walking, playing hoops, or playing tennis. Heck, they even have soccer fields and baseball diamonds if you're into those sports too!

When you think of Labor Day, what do you usually think about?
For me, Labor Day signifies the dreaded "Back to School" time. Thank god I am entering my last year of college, so I could finally end the "Back to School" phase. Personally, I know that most parents and students buy their school supplies during Labor Day weekend. So, the real question is, where should I do my "Back to School" shopping?
Personally, I love shopping for school supplies during Labor Day weekend at my local Target Greatland (http://www.target.com ). Just looking at the store, I keep asking myself, what don't they have? From school supplies, foods, clothes, furniture, and tools, you can find great deals on all these items.
What I love most about Target is that most stores set aside a specifc place just for back to school items. School supplies has it's own section in the store (separated from office supplies). When you look at the prices, you'd think Target was insane. For example, take a look at a 10 pack of 70 page notebooks. How much you ask? $1.00. That's right, a buck. How about crayons for your kids? You could get them for less than a quarter. How about book covers? Less than a buck. You can also find a pack of pencils that'll last a whole school year for less than a buck as well.
Well, you now might be asking me "Julian, I'm not a college student, nor do I have children, so what other Labor Day deals can I find?" Well, you can find all your favorite deals by checking out your local Target flyers, or you can look at the online Target flyer by accessing http://weeklyad.target.com/target/new_user_entry_page.asp . When you hit that page, you need to type in your zip code and hit enter. What I also love about Labor Day weekend at Target is that the electronics go on sale, and who doesn't love electronics? You'll see items such as calculators, printers, DVD players, and CD players all go on sale between 15% and 30% off!
How about clothing? Yup, Target puts those on sale during Labor Day weekend as well. Many jeans, shoes, shirts, and pants will have price cuts for the weekend.
With all this Labor Day shopping, I'm sure you'd be hungry. No problem. Most Targets these days have their own specialty food mart located in the front of the store. Here they sell popcorn and hotdogs and soda with other snacks so you can get refreshed and ready for another round of shopping.
I guess you should now be equipped for Labor Day. The real question is "Are you ready to save a lot of money at Target?"

I went to Cerritos Community College to take a couple general education classes during the summer. The first thing I want to say about them is that it reminds you of a high school, but just a bit bigger. After your first day on the campus, you literally can't get lost. Buildings are easily labeled and the campus is not that big. Some of the classroom buildings look kind of old from the outside, and are in dire need of remodeling. However, they have finished making a new building and it looks pretty nice. The food court for the school doesn't hold that many restaurants (maybe like 5?) and there are plenty of chairs and tables for students to sit aroudn while they eat. The food court also has televisions showing MTVU. The school has a mediocre arcade, having maybe like 10 to 15 games to play from. Parking is literally hell on the campus, even during the summer. Sometimes you might end up parking across the street just so you can have a spot. I can't really rate all the professors as a whole because I only took a couple classes during the summer. The professors I did have were excellent and might even be on par with a Cal State school. Overall, its not a bad college, but it's not a UC or Cal State.

I've never been a great fan of the dodgers, and I'm not too hot about their stadium either. The first thing you'll notice is the cleansiness. It's really not clean, compared with Angel Stadium which is always kept clean. Dodger stadium holds a lot of people and tends to have more rioter crowds than the Angels - thats because the Angels have more family friendly fans. Also, a major problem with the Dodgers is their horrible parking - don't get me started with this please. However, even with all these negatives, when you look at the field, you'll be amazed at how great the grass and other luxories they hold at Dodger Stadium. Built for over 50,000 fans to watch a game, the Dodgers have one of the largest audience capacities in baseball. Dodger stadium could use some improvements, but I guess it's more important on what's on the field that counts.

Boy, this restaurant is every man's dream. They have all manly kinds of food, such as those great tasting burgers which range from 10 to 13 bucks. Also, there's televisions of sports games everywhere, and you can watch any team at anytime you want. Not only that, but the restaurant has a great arcade for people to enjoy themselves after they eat. So why didn't I give it a perfect score? Because of the horrible waitress. While finishing up our food, the waitress would bother us as we were watching the Laker game. Even worse, when we went to the arcade, she went after us, asking us for more tip. I mean, WTF was that! I couldn't believe this crazy women, and we complained to the manager. I hope she gets fired, because I can't handle waitresses going after me for a tip.

Everyone has tasted Ice Cream before and everybody loves it. But have you ever tasted Italian Ice Cream? I must say, if you didn't, it's not like regular ice cream at all. It's even better, sweeter, with more umph and flavor coming out of it. The store is located right near the recently closed Robinsons' May, and walking shoppers can stop by to taste one of this splendid delights. You can choose from Tahitian Vanilla, Mixed Berry, Mango, Double Dutch Chocolate, Butter Pecan, and a lot more flavors. Not only do they taste great, but the ice cream looks good too. The colors of the ice cream are brighter than the normal ice cream. It looks too good to eat. The price is kinda hefty for what you get, ranging between 4 to 7 bucks depending on what size you order, but it's all worth it. This is must taste wonder that you must enjoy at least once.

Have you seen chocolates more mouthwatering than at See's Candy? We'll, this is the place that sells them. It's a small little show located right next to the recently closed Robinson's May. The store had the friendliest employees and loved to talk and smile with the customers. The store always seems busy, as there is always a line of customers waiting for their chocolates. You can see all the items they sell through the see through glasses. Every item they sold was coated in chocolate, and a lot of them also had nuts too. My favorite item is the chocolate covered apple on a stick sprinkled with nuts. It cost about 5 to 6 bucks, but it's well worth the mouth watering and melting flavor when it enters your mouth. You could literally die on the spot when you take a bit - thats how good they are. This is a place I must recommend to everyone.

The restaurant is located in the City of Cerritos, basically right across from the Cerritos Mall. The exterior of the restaurant doesn't look new, and it has one of those old fashioned restaurant. However, the inside provides a freshness not many other restaurants can achieve. They have a great darkish atmosphere, providing the old schoolish like look. With the pleasant waitresses guiding you to your table and serving you, you can't help but smile and be delighted at the marvelous service. They serve a lot of different items, including soups, salads, hamburgers, steaks, ribs, and so on - basically what most restaurants serve, but they are tasty and richer than what other restaurants serve. The prices are decent, really comparable to most restaurants. My favorite item at the restaurant are their fries. They make them taste better and crunchier than any other restaurant I have experienced from. This is a place I really recommend.

Banana Repulic is located in the heart of the Cerritos Mall, and is always filled with many shoppers. They have a pretty decent sized store, at least big enough so customers can walk around appropriately enough. They sell great quality clothing, and many of their items are made from exotic materials. They sell some of the top fashions in jeans and shirts. The big problem is how expensive their clothing cost. It's not affordable for the average man. Clothes can start from $50, with ties costing maybe $80. The only way an average person like me that can afford all these clothing is to hope they go on sale, and on a big sale. I don't blame the store for the high prices though because of their great quality. I also have to mention the cleansiness of the store. Everything in the store always looks organized and clean. I'd recommend going here if you can afford so.

Every see a store that only sells sporting caps? Well, there's one now that specializes in it. Located conveniently in the heart of the Cerritos Mall, Lids is a small store that sells caps for every professional sporting team known to man. They've got baseball caps for all your favorite teams, such as the Angels and the Dodgers, and don't forget about those Lakers and other basketball caps. The good thing about them is that they have different designs of each team hat as well, so you have a variety to choose from. Also, it seems like they are always in stock for each hat they sell. On a negative note, you'll probably pay more for a hat than at a regular store. If they go on sale, you can get hats for 2 for $30 or something like that. The quality of the hats they sell are the finest around and are durable and long lasting. If you are looking to buy a cap, or looking for a gift for a friend, try checking LIDs out first.
