Every year, a few days before Christmas, I go to visit my Uncle and have a quaint, enjoyable dinner at McKeever's Restaurant. It's always a fun and relaxed affair with great food and great people.
The service is nothing short of fast and friendly and the decor is amazing straight down to the gorgeous fire place against the south end of the restaurant. Located an 1 1/2 from Manhattan, McKeever's is a gem of the Hudson Valley

If I had more disposable income, you can be sure I'd do a great deal of my clothing shopping at Anthropologie. I absolutely adore their coats and I usually come across a top pr two that literally causes me to gasp.
Their clothing selection is vast, unique and of the utmost quality. Though their inventory is expensive unless you're able to catch one of their sales, rest assured whatever you buy will last you years and years.
What's also great about this store is it's customer service. When a trench coat I coveted was sold out in the store, I was told to call their 1-800 number. Fifteen minutes later, I had a Kirsten ruffled trench heading for my door step.

Friendly service and great food are the cornerstones of any restaurant, two things Artepasta has fully embraced. Throw in a relaxed atmosphere and you have a fantastic place to eat.
There's the option of a Prix Fixe Lunch for $7.95 which includes a starter, entrée and cup of coffee or tea. Personally, I'm more a fan of the $10 Sunday brunch which features all the champagne or mimosas a person can drink.

Tourists and locals alike often coverge on the Cupping Room Cafe. Brick walls and potbelly stove add a cozy atmosphere to this restaurant which has been around since 1977. Brunch is the big crowd pleaser with delicious dishes such as homemade date nut bread , french toast, steak and eggs and Nova Scotia salmon making up the menu.

A family style pizzeria, Angelo's is guaranteed to provide you with a premium pizza. Cooked in coal ovens, the crusts of Angelo's pizza never fail to come out black and crispy, creating a smoky flavor that lingers yet is utterly delicious. You just have to try it to truly understand.
Toss in one of their quality desserts, whether it be tiramisu, a nice cannoli or some gelato, and you've got a fine meal that'll leave you more than satisfied.

Conveniently located near the City Center, Myzel features old-fashioned hand dipped chocolates, truffles, and gift baskets. Though everything this chocolate store makes is delicious, it will set you back a pretty penny -- chocolates are close to $20 a pound while truffles are just under $30.
Thus, while good to splurge on from time to time, they're not an every day chocolate to be had.

The soups and sandwiches at Hale and Hearty Soups are your ordinary fair but the price is right. A small cup of soup will cost you little under three dollars while a large container is a steal at a little under $5.
Samples are availible as well in case you want to be daring and try a new soup such as Crab Asparagus Bisque or Chicken & Andouille Jambalaya but are weary of shelling out cash for something you're not sure you'll like.
For dessert, try their Nonfat Lemon Angel Food Cake. It's tasty and low in calories as well.

Inexpensive food and over the top cow girl decor is what's so charming about the Cowgirl Hall of Fame. Vegetarians beware -- meat and fried foods dominate the menu. Jack Daniel’s pork chops, hangar steak, chicken fried chicken, and BBQ foods galore are all waiting to be washed down by a mason jar full of fruit-y margaritas.
Cowgirl Hall of Fame sure isn't the classiest food joint on the block but sometimes a gal just has to get herself a bit dirty.
