Delicious fresh baked goods like the shelves of this bakery in Chinatown. The most delicious cakes, buns, cookies, etc are availible as well as some specialy drinks. Most items are baked fresh daily and the selection is vast for such a small bakery. The butterfly cookies are the best, as are egg tarts. Make this a stop for a little treat after your next visit to Chinatown.

For quick items this is a convenient location and easy to get in and out of. Overall I think the store is a little small, dated and needs a good cleaning or remodel. I think that the Acme up on 202 is much better, although still not great. But prepackaged goods are prepackaged goods no matter where you get them. They usually have very good sales. Overall not bad - but there are better

This is a great 'Korean' style Barbque. It is protien heaven - pork, chicken, beef, squid, shrimp tons of choices and the fun of do it yourself cooking. Also the hot pot choices make a delicious soup while you are cooking... You will enjoy this. I would reccomend a group of 3 to be an optimal number for a table. I think the dinner costs are around $15-18 per person and it is WELL worth it.

The Stardust is dated... You can tell just by the marquee and sign as you approach this property - it is dwarfed by the mega resorts and casinos but it has a little bit of that old Las Vegas charm. You can just see the names like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin appearing on that giant sign outside... Its a shame that this Vegas landmark will be soon to meet its maker and face a few dynamite charges. Visit while you still can, grab a chip to remember the 'dust. Not such a great place to stay but fun to visit!

Ocean City is a great chinese restaurant. They have a huge menu of everything ranging from standard American style chinese food to more authentic cuisine. There are so many things to chose from that the best way to attack this place is to order a variety of dishes and share with each other so you can try a wider variety of the fresh seafood, vegetables, and other dishes availible. The prices are also very reasonable here. Make sure to give Ocean City a try when you are in Chinatown, open very late on weekends.

Penang is a great place for a quick snack or a full meal. They have a huge menu with a wide variety of Malaysian dishes to chose from, and there is usually very little if any wait for a table. The service is fast and attentive and the decor is pretty cool. The crispy fried squid appetizer is not to be missed. Golden pieces fried to perfection in a delicious batter, yum!! The prices here are really very reasonable, and the food is awesome. Make Penang a stop next time you are in Chinatown.

Cannot comment on the rooms here, but this is one of the few old school casinos still around located at the heart of the strip. Next to Flamingo, Ballys and across from Bellagio and Caesars the location can't be beat. There is a resaturant that serves some great late night specials ($4 breakfast, late night). There are a lot of slots and a few tables, the casino is a little smoky and dingy but it is worth checking out. Recently they added some new slot machines - like the giant Wheel of Fortune near the front door - which is fun to watch and even play!

Bally's shows some of its age - Back in the 80s it was the MGM Grand before a huge fire - it was renovated sometime after that. It has a decent casino space, and some small resaurants but nothing that really makes it stand out as a Las Vegas mega hotel. If you are looking for a reasonable place to stay in a GREAT location - It is acress from Bellagio and Caesars, and connected to Paris. Bally's is worth a stay - like I said - nothing fancy - but the location is really very good!

Paris Hotel is awesome - from the replica Eiffel Tower and Arc they have put a tremendous effort into showcasing a Perisian atmosphere in the middle of the desert. There is a very nice casino space as well as many dining and shopping options as you stroll through this massive building. I really enjoyed my visit here - I did not stay in the hotel, so I cannot comment on the rooms, but if they are anything related to how nice they keep the public areas - I would say they have to be great. I would consider staying there on a future visit to Las Vegas. It is very centrally located on the strip, next to the Aladdin/Planet Hollywood and Ballys and across the strip from Bellagio. Make sure you visit Paris in Nevada!!
