I have been here a few times and let me tell you I have been greatly satisfied. They have a lot of really cool designs to chose from for acrylic nails and they also do manicures and pedicures. They let you chose from over 100+ colors! WoW! You can chose if you want a manicure, which consists of lotion being massaged into your hands, then nail polish being applied, or a pedicure, where your feet get soaked and massaged in foamy warm water.. Also you get lotion applied. No matter what you chose it will most likely be expensive, but surely beautiful. They sterilize their tools as well.

The product are of a very high quality and the lotions are particularly good. I am also a fan of the lip blames. Beware of the body sprays as many folks are allergic to them (including myself and my husband). None of their products are ever tested on animals and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

24 Hour fitness is a pretty good place to work out and take a break from the routine of the day. It has its own kids center where kids can watch movies, color, climb on a jungle gym thing or just hang-out and talk with friends. The gym itself has a lot of equipment although they could have more cardio eupiment, it also has a nice sauna and showers. Overall it is a pretty good place!!

Fitness 19 is a nice Gym. It's not as great as all those new gyms that have TV ad's, but it's still really nice. You can do your exersizes and build muscle (mainly like your average gym, but wait- there's more!) and if you're new there, they will offer you a coach/ trainer to help you get on the machines and teach you how to handle them properly- so they don't get ruined and you don't get hurt. There are also personal trainers to help you reach your fitness goals. Like the slogan says, Fitness 19- where you can afford to get fit!

This is a GREAT hair styling place. They have licensed cosmetologists and they are very nice with hair. To get the best hair style, one that suits you, you have to tell the stylist EXACTLY what you want. Do NOT let them tell you "Well let's just do a little" because you pay for what YOU want. :) .Great hair stylists. Great salon!

I went to get my nails done for prom. It was costly but worth it. They do all sorts of nails and also have spas. If I had the money, i would go back. The service is great too. They also could cut your hair, they do everything! It's a great place to just sit back and look pretty.

if you have no insurance John Muir Hospital inflates your bill over 600% . The billing department is the lowest of low. Even with legal help it is a slow and painful journey down a blind ally. Try to negotiate with what appears to be a massive bureaucracy.
Your stay will cost you an unbelievable $35,000 per day. Even if you ask for a cost estimate before hand you will be provided with little or no information about the bill. it comes in the mail 2 days after being discharged. I would rather die than set food in John Muir Hospital again.
If you have great , full coverage medical insurance , be there guest ! If you are one of the 8 million uninsured in California be warned . Your life will never be the same.

Sephora is a nice place to buy makeup and perfumes, body sprays, etc, but, I'm not going to lie to you.. they are very expensive. They carry brand names like Chanel and M A C , and the employees are really nice. If you feel like splurging a little, then this is the place for you! Just remmeber, the cheapest thing is about $10.

(I'm a girl) Prices are low, like under $20 for hair cuts and I know they do great mens haircuts as the male members of my family frequent the place. The barbers, or stylists, are all interesting characters and most have been there for years. For women, if you need a simple, classic cut or just a trim, do try them out. For more complicated stuff, you may want to try a different place.
