This place is really fun for all ages. When I was there I saw both 8 year olds and 38 year olds running around all the same. You run around and shoot each other with lasers, somehow its just so exciting. But you really have to make reservations. Recently one of my girlfriends and I decided to go there and then drop in for a movie (the movie theater is practically next door). When we got there they said they had no openings until like 11PM! Yeah, we didnt get in that day. Next time I will definitly call in and reserve. Its a great place to have a child's birthday party. They have party rooms and special birthdau packages.

This is kind of weird that this ski rental shop is in Mountain View, Not anywhere near the snow. I rented here once, but I really realized that it was completely pointless. I rented for 2 days and it was $40 for the snowboard package and $38 for the skier package. But then I went to Tahoe and the prices were actually pretty close to this up there as well, maybe just $7 bucks cheaper. So I ended up having to carry the stuff back and forth. And I didnt save any money anyways because I got back into the city too late on my return date so the next day they made me pay an extra $20. They had everything, and everythiung was fine, but Im not coming back. There is no point.
UPDATE! I just drove by it yesterday and I think this store might have closed!

Its a great park for kids. Parents are happy since they are looking at that interesting knoted tree, and the kids get to go on rides. Go on the little tram ride around the park, they will show you and tell you about all the things they have growing in the park. This is not a park for thrillseekers! I think that you can only go here once, this isnt really a park thats full of crazy rides. They have days at the end of the season where you can get free tickets if you know how to.

The great thing about it is that it is neighboring Safeway, you dont have to run anywhere to grab a bite. Its also right next to downtown Menlo Park, Just three blocks away. Downtown Menlo Park has lot of little restaurants to sit in and enjoy the night. You can miss this place when you are trying to find it, there is a big mermaid starring right at you.

The reason why I like this library is because it is very modern. It is a really nice two storey facilitey. All of the staff is really nice, they are always willing to help you out. They have a summer reading program for kids and teens. They have some pretty good new DVDs, but they only have one or two copies of each so it is really hard to get something good, you really have to be there right when they are shelving them. There is a wide selection of everything. The internet availability is really good, you can always get on and it is really easy. Its also really nice that it is located right next to the downtown Redwood City.

I have been to this ski resort sooo many times, I have actually gotten kind of sick of it. What I dont like about it is that the slopes are REALLY short so you ski down really fast and then have to stand in line all over again. That makes the lines really long, and thats never pleasant. The slopes Cub and Super cub are good for begginers. Teachers here are pretty good. But I just think there aren't enough slopes here. There is a little bit for everyone, of every level. Just not much of it. Usually when you go here you stay in the nearby town called Arnold, but its a 45 minute drive.

This is such an interesting place! You are actually walking to through the world famous prison Alcatraz! Of course there are no prisoners here since the proson closed down because of the high costs it took. Now it is just a museum type things. Take the audio tour. Its is just so interesting. It tells you about some of the prisoners, the esape attempts, prison life. I was just so amazed. There are some open cells that you can walk in to and see how small they are. See that all of the toilets are out in the open. See how the doors are all closed. See the most dangerous room in the prison, the dining room where everyone had a fork and knife. How the prisoners were checked to make sure no one stole a utensil. See the courtyard where they would excersize. Amazing.
o yeah, you get here on a ship and those tickets sell out REALLY quickly, make sure you get there early enough.

The Mountain view center for performing arts, what a great addition to the community. Right downtown Mountain view. There is always some kind of show in here. Whether it is a local dance studio or a proffesional performace. This theater sees not one Nutcracket a year. Its a great three storey experience. I wouldnt say it was top notch, but it IS really cool. Back stage is really nice. Lots of rooms for lots of dancers/performers. All the rooms are different sizes so you can put different groups into different rooms. There is even a bakery inside with really nice little cakes.

The slopes arent long, not very interesting. Its never crowded which is nice, you can just ski down and basically get into a chair. The parking is right next to the snow, so you dont have to walk far which is just so nice. I dont like the instreuctors here, they dont seem to be proffesional TEACHERS. They dont seem to hava a way of instructing people that well. Its good for a passing by, but it hould not be a grand destination.

When you are going up on the Gondola or one of the big ski lifts take a look back, just hold on so your open mouth doesnt drag you off the lift. I like the fact that when you get up on the mountain, the slopes are really long, it can take you half an hour until you get to your next ski lift. There are so many choice here, which is so nice so you dont have to keep skiing on the same terrain. Even though the place is really crowded there seems to be roomm for everyone and the lifts go pretty fast. Rentals are a big pain though! its take FOREVER! Also it will take you an hour to stand in line to get onto the Gondola at the end of the day! But the rest is wonderful. The Gondola is right accross the street from your hotel or inn. Lots of rental places around. Also, The instructors here are awesome! They really know their stuff. Some are from south africa, brazil, australia, austria. its really cool. The lift tickets are REALLY expensive
