I'll admit that I love to eat and that sweets are my weakness. I joined Curves back in 2005 and I loved it at first. But, I had to eat the same things over and over again and I got bored very quickly. I did lose 30 pounds though, so I didn't waste my time.
Now, I'm doing Weight Watchers and I LOVE it! I can eat all the foods I love, in moderation, and I'm still losing weight! And the weight is coming off easily and I don't feel like I'm on a diet!
Weight Watchers isn't really a diet, it's simply a different way of life! And a way of life that I have easily adjusted to.
The meeetings are actually quite fun and very informative. And the meetings usually last less than an hour, and are held just once a week. The weigh - in is kept totally confidential, so just you and the person weighing you know the details.

Coffee & Cream is located on main street just as you go into town. It's a little drive thru espresso stand. There is also a little area with benches to sit outside. Very inviting.
Holly and Corrina are so friendly and they know us by name! They make a great cup of coffee and they also serve muffins, milkshakes, ice cream, frozen lemonade and chocolate covered espresso beans!

Panda Express has only been here for a few months. The first month it was so busy that I never went in, always drove by and kept going. The drive thru had a line backed up all the way around the building and into the parking lot.
I finally made it in there for lunch this past week and what a treat. Their menu selection was wonderful and so were the prices. Affordable meals and sides and the portions were quite large.
The employees were very friendly and quick to assist. The food was prepared fresh and it was very tasty! Served nice and hot and full of flavor!
They have dine-in, carry-out, a drive thru and they cater!

Leo's Photography is the studio that came to my son's school and took their school photos this year. I have always been a little sceptical about purchasing school photos because of past experiences. Some of my school photos are terrible to say the least! LOL!
Anyways, since it was my son's first year of school, of course I wanted a school picture. So we purchased the smallest and least expensive package. When they came back a few weeks later I was kicking myself for not ordering more. They were fabulous. They captured the perfect shot of my son, I loved them!

I love coffee and it's often times hard to find a place that makes a good cup! My personal favorite is an almond roca mocha, double shot with whip. YUM! The Bean Barn makes a mean cup of coffee. Their coffee is always hot and tastes great. The staff is super friendly and they even know us by name and what we want! They always say : Would you like your usual?
The Bean Barn's prices are about average, less than $3 for a 20 oz cup. Which I don't mind paying that for a good cup of coffee.
They are open 7 days a week and Sunday is double stamp day. Once you get 9 stamps, your 10th coffee is FREE!
Located across from the high school in the Hico and McDonald's parking lot!

The staff here are wonderful. Always quick and helpful and very friendly. They make visiting them inviting and welcoming. It's a pleasure dealing with them.
The staff unloads your items, weighs them and pays you on the spot. Quick easy cash for things that many people throw away.
They pay cash for copper, soda/pop cans and even cars!

Chipmasters Inc has been in business in this area for over 40 years and they have a fantastic reputation. They are a small town business with small town values and service. We have used these guys on several different occasions and we have always been pleased and keep going back for more!
Chipmasters are the ones who provided the concrete for our recent remodel/addition for our foundation. They were on time and the product was perfect! Competitive prices too and the employees are personable and reliable!
We have also used Chipmasters to oil the road in front of our house for dust control. We have a dirt/gravel road and the traffic is terrible and the dust settles everywhere! Dust control is the way to go!
I would recommend Chipmasters to anyone in need of dust control, paving, asphalt or concrete!

Spokandy specializes in homemade chocolates, mints and fudge. They also sell decorative tins, mixed nuts, mugs, taffy and more.
Every holdiay they make special candies that go along with the holiday on hand. Right now they have little pumpkins and ghost chocolates that are super cute!
There are several nearby locations and some grocery stores even sell a few select candies from Spokandy.

okay, so when Halloween rolls around, some people do crazy things that they normally wouldn't do. As a teenager in high school one of those crazy things was going to the cemetary on Halloween. One particular Halloween there were over 40 of us up there running around the cemetary, hiding behind trees and tombstones and scaring the others that were there with us. We always had a lot of fun and we never hurt anyone or anything.
The Kooskia Cemetary is on the side of a mountain and overlooks the small town. It is very well maintained, the grass always mowed and green. My grandmother is buried here as well as my great grandparents.
