The white sangrias here are excellent. I suggest getting a pitcher every time you come. The waiters and waitresses are great, they always keep your glass full.
The actual tapas are not bad. I would stay away from the thai salad.
this tapas bar is off strip. It is perfect if you are staying at the Embassy Suites since it is within walking distance.

I tried Friendly for the first time. i thought the food was very good for the price. We had buffalo chicken strips for and appetizer. They were really good and the portions were large. I have a fried chicken salad for dinner. I liked it a lot but I could barely eat it after eating all the spicy strips. My husband had the Reuben. that was a really good sandwich. The french fries left a lot to be desired so I would probably get a different side dish. Oddly enough we didn't get to try the ice cream but I am looking forward to that next time.
The staff were very friendly, also. this place really lives up to its name.

My husband and I loved this track. It is a lace that you get to test drive different vehicles. They have two tracks, a performance track and an off road track. My husband test drove the Chevy corvette and the Solstice. I test drove the corvette and the hummer. You get to pick two different cars to try, they had quite a few to choose from. The off road course in the hummer was fun because you really got to see what the thing does. I think I actually scared the professional driver when we were climbing up a hill sideways.
The whole thing was a lot of fun because you could really find out what the cars were made of.
Be warned that they make you take a sobriety test before they let you drive their cars.

Embassy Suites has a lot of great perks. They have a free breakfast buffet every morning that is really good. it has pancakes, potatoes, french toast, made to order omelets and eggs, bacon, and sausage. It also has all the regular continental items such as fruits, danishes, cereal, etc. Another one is the 2 hour happy hour every night. They serve free drinks and snacks during that 2 hour time frame. They aren't chintzy drinks either. They're actually quite loose with the alcohol.
After enjoying your breakfast or happy hour you can take a taxi to the strip. It is right around $5.00 one way to the fashion show mall before tip.
We stayed here since we were attending a convention at the hotel. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. I enjoyed my visit and would stay here again even if I was traveling on my own.

Cafe Baba Reeba is one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas for lunch. I love tapas bars and this one is great. they have a lot of different types of sangria. I have only tried the red and white but I am looking forward to trying some of the fruit flavors.
They have the best pizza I have ever had. It is really thin and crispy and it coated with olive oil.
The steak sandwich is also very good. The bread is a bit much since they are really big slices so I always take off the top slice. it comes with really good horseradish sauce. the beef is very tender and has excellent flavor.
the dessert are really good. They are very small so make sure you sample a few. So far the only think that I haven't cared for is the lemon pound cake.

This restaurant used to be an Indian restaurant but it was taken over and converted into a pizza place. They have some great coupons like the but one entrรฉe and get second half off. They also have a really good pizza deal- buy one large 3 topping pizza for $8.99. We got that one with pepperoni, sausage, and bacon. Yum, it was one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten.
We also tried the wings. I would not recommend those. My husband liked them but I did not care for them at all.
Overall a great dining experience. Everyone in the restaurant seems very helpful and friendly.

Spalon is the first salon I have been to since moving to the area. I am very impressed with the business. I got a hair cut/dry/style all for $27.00 before tip. That price is fantastic.
They did a great job on my hair. The stylist did exactly what I asked. I am trying to grow my hair out so I just wanted a trim and to thin out my thick hair to make it manageable.
I will definitely be a repeat customer!

We went to Elkton Diner the other day for breakfast. We are still fairly new to Elkton so this is the first restaurant we have gone to for breakfast in the area. We like diners and mom/pop type places so we thought we would really enjoy this place.
I had the breakfast special that included 3 french toast, bacon or sausage, and coffee. I chose sausage with my french toast. My meal was excellent. The french toast were thick, perfectly crispy and served with a side of whipped butter. I like the fact that coffee or tea is included with the breakfast specials.
My husband ordered biscuits and gravy(with hash browns) and a side of bacon. The good thing was they gave him about 5 pieces of bacon that were very good. The bad thing was that we both disliked the biscuits, gravy, and potatoes. It put a damper on the meal since it was so gross.
Service was very good. The whole place did smell like cigarettes even though we were in the non smoking section. I guess that is normal for a diner.
Overall the meal was a very good value. We probably won't go back there, we'll keep on trying new places.

I want to say that I love Home depot. They are a life saver, they have everything a person could want and more. The problem is I always walk out the door with more then I went there for. It is one of the big joys of being a home owner. The never ending quest to make the house better.
HD always has a ton of people walking around to ask questions to, the one here always has a lot of registers open so there isn't a long wait, and everyone is really friendly.
I used to be bored walking around HD with my Dad when I was a kid. now I am the one that feels like a kid in a candy store.

I love Panera bread, I just can't get enough. just the other day when we were disappointed with Matilda's I made the comment that we should have just gone to panera bread.
My favorite salad is the bistro steak salad. It is so good, it has field greens, lettuce, crumbled gorgonzola cheese, steak, walnuts and it is tossed in balsamic dressing. I have never met a sandwich I haven't liked from Panera bread. I would like to try the broccoli and cheese soup, that is next on my list.
I like the choose 2 deal. You can choose 2 of 1/2 a salad, bowl of soup, and/or 1/2 a sandwich. It is usually about 6 dollars for the choose 2 deal.
Panera Bread is inexpensive, really quick, and the staff are always really friendly.
