I went to this store with my mom, who was looking for a wig for fun. This branch of Empire Wigs is located in a shopping strip so parking is ample. The store is not very big but it's filled with wigs and more wigs. The quality of the wigs seem to be much more natural-looking than the wigs I've seen in other beauty supply stores, which looked too shiny and plastic-y. There was only one man tending the store and he was very warm and helpful. He got the many wigs that my mom wanted to try on was very patient and willing to help us when we had questions to ask. The place has a big mirror with 3 seats where people can try on wigs in the front part of the store and a smaller mirror and seat in the back, also.
We went there really just to look around but because of the quality of the wigs and the great customer care we received, my mom bought a wig right then! The place is not cheap: most wigs my mom tried on were in the $125 to $135 range, but they do carry some that are under $100, cheapest one I heard was $35.

This is THE restaurant to get Peking Duck! Where else can you find a whole Peking Duck served at $10.95??? The restaurant itself is not eye catching, but in my opinion, it's one of the best Chinese restaurant in the area, easily. Besides their Peking ducks, their other items on the menu are awesome, too. I've tried several dishes over there and I haven't had any major disappoints, yet. The place is often packed during dinner time, and the waitresses seem to be very good at what they are doing. They know about the foods that they serve and you might want to try to ask what they recommend.

This place is usually pretty busy. The food here is well known within the Chinese community that I know people who would drive from VA just to come eat at this place. The place is not even a big place. They have various types of Chinese noodle soups and dishes. You order the food at the counter and pay first, and then you pick your own table to sit at. They then will deliver the food to your table. Prices are reasonable and you feel good eating good and healthy (compare to other Chinese restaurants) at good prices.

I've been a long time goer for this Japanese restaurant. The sushi/sashimi is already fresh and taste good, and the prices are reasonable. The appetizer menu is well organized and has good representative pictures so you can see what you are ordering. As for sushi/sashimi, they are usually fresh and good. After a while of dining there, I have found that the best deal is the Sushi and Sashimi for Two (if you are going with another person). It comes with an appetizer (that is different depends on the chef) that comes in a martini glass in the center of your large sashimi tray. Then there is plenty of pieces of both nigiri and sashimi for two. Dessert also comes with it - mochi with your choice of ice cream in the middle. YUM!
They also cater for special events and functions.

I am not sure if all Sprint stores operate the same way as this one. The service is REALLY slow. First you walk in, you have to sign-in (a new procedure that didn't exist when I first signed up with Sprint wireless), and then you wait to be called. The staff there doesn't seem to be very competent or. One time I had to wait in line for over an hour just to find out that they can't do it for me and I need to call the customer service from my cell phone.

This little cafe has only 2 or 3 sit down tables. Most people go there to buy their bubble teas. They have a good selection of bubble tea and it's the only place I know of that has pudding (custard/jello like substance) as a choice for add-ins to your bubble tea. The prices are good and the tastes are great, too. Their Taiwanese menu items are taste really really good, though you might stop and wonder if it's healthy, since a lot of main attraction items are deep fried.

This place serves both Thai food and bubble tea. The Thai cuisine section is fairly new. The food is in small portions so even though the prices aren't that high, the prices are really just OK. Taste wise, they dishes are not bad. The selection is not the widest but since it's a cafe, it may be overlooked. The main attraction of this place is their wide variety of bubble teas!! They have smoothies, juices, teas; you can pretty much custom made what you want in your drink. The cafe has several tables where customers can sit and hangout. They also provide games and books that you can lounge with while you relax and drink your tea.

I was referred to Dr. Leithauser to have my mole removed from my face for medical reasons. I was told by my primary physician to go to a plastic surgeon's office so that a scar wouldn't be left on my skin.
The first visit was a consultation. The staff and Dr. L were friendly and I was pleased, but the consultation was very short and he didn't leave me any time to ask questions. All he told me about the procedure itself was he'll use anesthesia on my face, the procedure will be simple and that I'll have a couple of stitches. Placing my trusts on him, I made an appointment to have the surgery done.
On the day of surgery, I went into the office and the front desk lady was friendly like last time. She told me to sign a consent form and I read it and saw a clause about scars. I asked the lady about it and she told me that there will be a permanent scar on the face. I told her that the only reason I was at a plastic surgeon was because there wouldn't be a scar. She then told me to wait for the doctor. I was lead into a room and a nurse/technician came in. I repeated my concern with her and she repeated the same thing to me, that there will be a permanent scar. I asked how big the scar would be, and she said to wait for the doctor. The doctor came in and told me that he told me last time that there would be a permanent scar on the face. I told him that he didn't, and repeated him word for word what he told me last time (it was so short that I remember exactly what he said). He denied flat out and seemed to blame me, which was just ridiculous because I would have said something if he even mentioned the word "scar" during consultation because it was the sole reason I was even at a plastic surgeon's office. At that time, I cared more about procedure itself, not who didn't say what during consultation. I asked how big the scar would be, he told me 1 cm long and about 1-2 mm wide. That's pretty big for a scar on my face from a mole that's not that big to begin with.
I expressed my worry and asked more about the procedure, but the doctor had already left the room, not wanting to talk to me anymore. I ended up talking to the nurse and she didn't even want to listen to me anymore. I really just wanted to know if there were other options that would minimize the scars, but each of them just started to walk away. I mentioned the fact that my father had a mole removed from his face and if he has a scar from it, it's not noticeable. The last thing anyone from the office said to me was, "Why don't you go to that doctor, then?"
I can't believe their attitude change soon after I raised a legitimate concern. I wasn't even blaming them; I just wanted to find out more about the procedure and if there were other options, which should have been discussed during consultation during the first visit but the doctor failed to fill me of vital information. I was pretty much shooed out of the office once they realized I didn't want to have a scar on my face, as if I wasted their time.
I thought plastic surgeons normally try to beautify people through their procedures; why would any plastic surgeon not discuss possible scars to patients? I am brand new to his expertise and relied on them to educate me, but not only did they fail to, they were rude to me. I just hope he isn't like this to other patients as well.

It took me several tries to even make an appointment with this dental office. No one would pick up the phone and it made me wonder if the office was even open. There was no front desk service when I went there. I had to wait a while for a hygienist/technician to come and asked me if I were a new patient. I was given different forms, which contained inconsistent info, to sign. I asked about the $10 "Sterilization Surcharge" mentioned on the agreement, which I never had to with other dentists, and was told that it has been raised to $12. Maybe if i didn't ask I'd have been charged $10, instead? The surcharge cost almost as much as my co-pay and raised my out-of-pocket price to double what I used to pay. The cleaning was done with minimal work and I didn't think was thorough (compared to my prior experiences). I am now looking to find yet another dentist.
