It has been quite some time since I've had an experience where I thought, "I have to write a good review"!
I have had a terrible week, and adding to that, I have had terrible pain from a tooth, that I knew needed to be extracted. My Grandfather passed away, I hadn't slept, etc., but this morning, the pain from my tooth was just too much to take. I am on Medicaid, so I was seriously doubting that I would find a dentist in our area that even accepts Medicaid for adults in our area, much less, be able to get in any time soon.
After calling around, I was so surprised, when I reached Bright Smile Family Dentistry! They, immediately, set an appointment for me to get in today.
Once I arrived, I was a nervous wreck! I don't deal well with pain, and tend to have panic attacks any time I visit a doctor or dentist! They got me in the chair, and Dr. Chang walked in and introduced himself. He could see how terrified I was, and even though I'm a thirty-something year old woman, he took the time to reassure me, throughout the entire process. I explained that I have had problems with Novocaine not completely numbing me in the past, so he made sure I was completely numb, even giving a couple extra shots, since I wasn't, before he even attempted to begin the procedure. He and the nurse were both so kind and compassionate, and even laughingly told me they had seen patients more terrified than myself! lol
To sum it up, I was completely amazed by the good service from beginning to end. They did not treat me differently because I was a "Medicaid patient", as I have known many in any medical profession to do. They were absolutely wonderful, not only taking care of my problem, but making sure I was ok, all the way through. I was so impressed with the way they treated me that I, immediately, set up an appointment for my nine year old son, who is as scared of dentists as I am! That's saying a lot, that I insisted this doctor be the one to see my "baby"!
I would recommend their services to anyone!

I wish I would have read reviews about this business before getting involved! As soon as I told my dad where I went, his reaction was, "Oh no"! Dad had gone in to simply have a cap glued back on, which they refused to do, telling him he would have to pay $1500 for a root canal first... which another dentist confirmed he did not need. I went through a very similar experience, and have, since, heard more and more and more, and, apparently, it's not just this office.

I am so angry with Best Buy. This was my first, and last, big ticket purchase with this company.
I bought a laptop 3 weeks ago. I have had nothing but problems, from day one. I am more tech savvy than many, which is the only reason this thing isn't sitting in the dumpster right now.
The first day, it wouldn't recognize the dvd drive. I figured out how to fix that on my own, but quickly discovered System Restore doesn't work (still doesn't). There have been many similar problems that I ignored, because I could fix most of them, by doing some reading on tech boards. The last straw, however, was yesterday, when I, again, had no sound, and nothing I could do would fix it.
I finally threw up my hands, realizing that I spent too much money on something brand new to be having all these problems.
I called Best Buy and told them I wanted to return it. Well... you can only return products for 14 days. They offered to let me have the "Geek Squad" fix the problem, but there's no way I'm taking in my source of work every couple weeks to fix all these bugs!
From now on, I will definitely make sure I purchase from a retailer that has a fair return policy. Less than a month, I know it's junk, and there's not a thing I can do about it... sad Best Buy... really sad!

My townhouse would rain in the living room, downstairs, every time it rained! It was full of mold... they wouldn't do anything about it! i finally had a housing inspector come out and tell me I must do an emergency move. Horrible, horrible, horrible!

I am so angry at Boost Mobile. I wanted to sign up with their unlimited plan. I called, to verify their first month is free, and asked if I could go to their store and select any of their phones, and if they would all work on that plan. After waiting on hold for about twenty minutes, I finally reached a rep, who said, yes, any phone would work, and I would get my first month free. I drove to the next town, and bought one of their less expensive phones. When I got home, I called to activate, and they told me the phone I got would NOT work, and that I would have to get one of the $100+ dollar phones for that plan. Of course, they kept pressuring me to pay the $50 for the first month (for a lesser plan), with my credit card... the month I was told I would receive free with the unlimited plan.
This company tries to sucker people in, and then convince them to spend more and more. I will never do business with them!

The rest of the hospital seems to have a really good standing, but the ER doc's definitely need some training in bedside manner.

My family loves bargain shopping. When my fiance's boss told him they wouldn't be working yesterday, we decided to check out some of the thrift stores in town, just to see what bargains we could come across. We decided to look for jeans for him.
We ended up at the Outreach Thrift Store, which is in the little complex in front of the East side Walmart, right off 12th Street.
The first thing I noticed is that this store is quite a bit smaller than the other thrift stores in town, about a quarter of the size. They do offer a few household items, but it consists of more clothes than anything.
We started looking around, and we were both pretty shocked. They were selling used jeans for $15 or more a pair!!! I just could not believe that, as I could go to the Goodwill in Norman, and no matter what the brand, the jeans are three dollars per pair.
If you do some digging, there are a few good deals. My fiance found a light jacket for eight dollars, which we did consider fair, but all in all, the prices just seemed way too high for used items.

Being disabled, I know how difficult it is to find money for any extras, especially something as pricey as legal representation! Even an uncontested divorce can cost hundreds of dollars that we just don't have. That is why I am especially thankful for Legal Aid of Western Oklahoma.
Like many other low cost clinics, the Legal Aid offices stay extra busy, but you can submit your case and speak to someone about getting help by calling between nine and eleven a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They have representatives available, during those hours, to do an intake. They, then, submit your case at their board meeting, and call you back to let you know if you are approved.
Legal Aid clinics help with many different types of cases, and is available to any low income residents of the area where they are located. They offer experienced attorneys who will submit your paperwork, and even represent you in court for a nominal fee, or no fee at all!
If you are facing a legal issue, and cannot afford an attorney, I would highly recommend calling Legal Aid!

As anyone who has had an MRI knows, this can be a very intimidating procedure. As you can imagine, I was completely stressed out when I found out I was going in for an almost three hour scan! ...
As anyone who has had an MRI knows, this can be a very intimidating procedure. As you can imagine, I was completely stressed out when I found out I was going in for an almost three hour scan! With my back surgery, lying on that surface, for even an hour, has proven to be an excruciating experience. I did not think I would ever make it through this process.
My physician, who knew of my concerns, sent me to Open Sided MRI, on NW 56th Street, in Oklahoma City. One thing that immediately impressed me is their extended hours, designed to fit any schedule. My scan was scheduled for 7:30 the following evening.
My fiancee and son accompanied me to my appointment. We were immediately seated in a comfortable waiting area, complete with complimentary snacks and drinks. There were magazines to fit almost any interest, and the area was even comfortable for children, a big plus for me.
When I was called back, the staff did everything they could to keep me comfortable. They positioned me with pillows, in a way to lessen the discomfort in my back. They allow you to bring your own cd, and choose the music that helps you relax throughout the scan. They offer an open design machine, that helps reduce panic and "claustrophobic" feelings. They really do what they can to offer the utmost in comfort.
I picked up a pamphlet, describing their services while in the waiting room, and another important feature offered that I would like to point out is that they offer complimentary taxi services to patients in the Oklahoma City area. That just reinforces my opinion that at Open Sided MRI, they really do believe in going above and beyond to satisfy their customers.

Even the sour grape! It is a great spot to get gas, drinks, food and the paper!!! Their prices are great, but the best thing is their customer service. The clerks always have a smile, and when they recognize you it's really nice!
They also have a pump starter card, all you do is let them get a copy of your license, and you get the card, so you don't have to always go in and prepay... I love that!
