LiveJournal is probably the best blogging service out there. The community groups range from all sorts of topics from comics to baseball right down to sex (if you really look). It's unlike MySpace, since it's mainly a blog and different than Xanga since it emails you the comments made right when someone makes them. It's also very simple to use! Check it out when you can!

REA's AP US History review book is quite brilliant! It truly has helped me for my in class DBQ's and essays in preperation for the AP test. Of course, it only works if you actually open it and read it! (something I've learned.. -____-) anyway, it truly is a good supplement for your in class AP US history text book. It cuts out the fine details and leaves the major points, which is helpful for memorization. I'm really thinking with this it'll help me get a 5 on the test in May!

Steve Martin's "Shopgirl" is a great novella! I didn't really think Steve Martin could write a book but this just shows his genius! There is barely ANY dialogue in the book, just descriptions, actions, and thoughts. It really brings out the book and the emotion is captured perfectly! Pick this up if you want to experience the brilliance of Steve Martin!

Now this is a CD you play during any party or social event. It has a sort of retro punk sound that's quite energetic. One of my favorites has got to be "Nth Degree." It's just a fun song that makes you want to get up and dance (all of them actually do!) I first heard the song while flipping through channels and caught the music video. It was interesting to say the least. The bridge is also quite catchy and I love it since I'm completely nerd status and think saying something to the nth degree is just awesome. Pick up the CD, start a party, and rock out!

I first listened to We Are Scientists whilst my many late night music hunts on the intraweb when I set my ears upon "Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt." It's one of those very catchy dance/rock songs that get stuck in your brain for quite a long time. Speaking of dance/rock, I'm thoroughly convinced you can just pop this in during a party and everyone will just dance and rock out all night! Pick this up if you haven't and also if you like the Braivery, Kaiser Chiefs, and Franz Ferdinand

"Something about Airplanes" opens with "Bend to Squares," which starts with an intro from a cello then turns into the usual Death Cab sound. From this beginning, the quirky, unique sound of DCfC is created! The whole album is musically great as well as lyrically powerful! It's amazing how amazing and genius Ben Gibbard is for being able to churn brilliant song after brilliant song! If you loved Death Cab before, you'll love this. If you want to start getting into Death Cab, this is one album you can't miss!

"You Can Play These Songs With Chords" by Death Cab for Cutie doesn't quite sound like Plans or Transatlanticism. In fact, Ben Gibbard's voice on the CD sounds a bit different, more rockish than anything. Don't get me wrong, the lyrics and the riffs are great but to me it sounds just a bit off from the Death Cab of today. It's still a great album and lyrically it's powerful. Pick it up if you want to try something new or if you're already a Death Cab fan

"You Could Have it So Much Better" is the highly anticipated follow up to Franz's self-titled debut. Although I must admit my first listening to it turned out to disappoint me, since I was expecting the exact same feelings I had while listening to the first album, after giving it another go (and realizing it ISN'T their first album)it grew on me and I fell in love upon the second go around. One song that is quite lyrically powerful is "Eleanor Put Your Boots On," which is a quite calm ballad amongst the party/dance/rock songs on the rest of the album. If you love the first album, you'll love this!
