The Morton Arboretum is really one of the top places in Lisle and a big attraction. People come from all over to visit. It has beautiful paths to stroll along and lots to ease. Students can get good educational material there about plants and animal behaviour.There is a really cool maze to walk through so you can feel like a giant mouse for awhile. Pack a picnic and bring the family. It's nice to visit in the evening as well.

If you want a casual place to eat and drinik this is the place for you. Friendly bartenders that really know how to mix a drink. Great prices, probably the cheapest prices in the area. Waitress Lisa is probably
the friendliest person that you could ever meet. Summer and fall nights are hopping with plenty of softball teams crying in their beer or celebrating. They have a diverse menu with the best thin crust pizza in the area. My favorite is free pool on Sundays where I can usually be found. If you are looking for no service and bar fights then the lodge is for you.

A nice little store to get magazines, newspapers and other convenience stuff. Have been going there enroute work for quite some time. Its a little cramped in here but the store is neat and the staff very helpful. They have the staff that all usual stores have and the prices are pretty ok too

Lisle's community library is impressive, considering that you can search for books, renew existing books, and place requests from the comfort of your own home computer. They send out electronic reminders when your books are nearing their due dates, which are usually quite helpful.
Their overall book selection is impressive, but a little dated. The computer/IT section is decidedly outdated, but it seems like they're trying to maintain current books as well. The AV room blew me away with its selection of cds and dvds for "rental." Every month, it seems like they get at least a dozen new books and dvds-- impressive by any standard.
Atmosphere-wise, it is sorely lacking. There's no coffee cart, and the overall decor reeks of the early 1970s. Natural lighting is at a minimum, and chairs/tables remind me of a junior high homeroom. With a little work and renovation, the Lisle library could be quite the reader's destination. But for now, I'll take my book and read at home.

Great Barber Shop. I dont think i can say enough how much this barber shop rules. They have a very good staff with very good chemistry. Truley one of the most legit and real barber shops around. Genuine in every way. Adolph is a very nice man too, and enjoys striking up a good conversation. Overall i give this place four stars out of five because it is such a great place.

Modern Music in Lisle is a good place for a beginner musician . They have a wide variety of new and used instruments. We've always been very happy with their products. They also offer music lessons.I've also taken guitar lessons from them and was quite happy with them as well. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. parking lot is not enough but accessible. Reasonable price.

The college offers a four year course but also offers adult classes and the opportunity to complete your degree.
This is what my son did. He had about five years of college but not enough to graduate. He went to Benedictine University for one year and received his degree.
It is really a great way to get an education.

A great place for any lover of true craft beer; domestic micros, belgians, germans, and more. Extensive tap list and tons of bottles with a constantly updated web based beer list and newsletter that keeps you updated on what is new, what is available, and what is coming soon. Amazing beercentric restaurant with very good German and Bohemian food. Everything is fresh and high quality, the schnitzels are solid and always well done and the kassler rippchen is a personal favorite, but you can not go to far wrong with any of the authentic choices. Service is usually friendly and well informed but they can get busy. If you want a quieter experience ask to sit far from the bar area. A true gem.
