They really car about pets! After another local vet misdiagnosed my cat 3 times she was very sick and I had little money following emergency vet bills and 3 other trips to the previous vet...the Dr. understood and took her immediatly as if she had been a patient the whole time...he worked around my work schedual and found what was wrong with my kitty...I will never go anywhere else :)

Gym Dandy, Thibodaux's oldest and finest thrift stores has books, a whole wall, plus a large shelf full of books all there for the choosing. Most books are .25 cents and the books range from infant cardboard books, to reader's digest books, to teen books, to books on cd or cassette tapes.
The books are basically separated according to age, but not by title or authors. Most of the books are in great to new condition, but some of the books need a little more loving care than others.

Jakes is a great place to shop. Giant selection of Men's, Women's, and kids. They also have a second location in the Southland mall for the kids stuff. Great values and sales on jeans and the clothing is up to date and the current styles. Also accessories such as jewelery and purses for the ladies. All in all a great place to shop, although the clerks are not the most helpful.

when I was at nicholls we would often hold our club meetings here. it is spacious and the coffee and pastaries are delicious. What is better than conversation with friends and good eats. Nice roomy atmosphere, usually alot of NSU kids and their lap tops. A great place to gather and just hang out a bit, and located close to NSU.

Duncan's sports has been in Thibodaux for about 20 years now and they are going strong. At the beginning they only sold PE uniforms for the local junior high and high schools and a couple of different kinds of balls.
Now they are not only the only store in thibodaux that carries an extensive line of football gear and accesories they prices are comparable to the larger chain stores.
The owners and operators are members of our community and really strive to have satisfied customers. They carry the football pants, cleats,socks, pads, mouth pieces, chin straps, the balls, the training accessories, the sweat things for the wrist in every color imaginable, and of course t-shirts and sweatshirts showing thier team support.

down home and friendly when u walk into this place everyone is friendly their is always one person we know that is there eating it is like going to a relatives house it is really nice to go eat at a place and bring the kids and know and feel that u r welcome the servers are very friendly and the food always taste fresh and hot and the owners little boy is always there to greet everyone it is such a great atmoshere with plenty of light and light music on the radio in my opinion its the best place in thibodaux

As a child, from infancy on, my shoes always came from GP Musso. The shoe store was opened in the mid 1950's as a shoe store and a shoe repair. The selection is not as wide as the larger stores, nor are they as cheap, but Musso's is the only place in Thibodaux to get the name name brand shoes with excellent service. They only carry dress shoes for men and women, plus slippers for adult women. The kids selection is a little more extensive going from those white high tops for infants and toddlers, to dress shoes, mary janes and athletic shoes.
As far as I know the shoe repair is still open and is the only place in town that I know of that will repair shoes in our tri-parish area.
