There are tons of activies happening Friday through Sunday.
My favorite is the craft sale at the Town Hall from 10am - 8pm. Admission is free.
The horse drawn rides start at 5pm. That tends to be a big draw for people. A draft horse team pulls a wagon around town. Great way to see everything.
They make donuts in a big pot of grease over an open fire. Those are very tasty!

If you happen to be in Sioux Falls, South Dakota....this is a REALLY cool rubber stamping store to check out. I walked into this store and wow! The amount of rubber stamps and paper is kind of over whelming, yet so cool at the same time. You really have to enjoy stamping to appreciate this store.
You will not however, find any stamps with your name on them. I looked. That's okay. Found so many other stamps in the mean time.
The gal was more than helpful explaining products to me and even took the time to demonstrate them.
Bought this stamp pad that is like a glue pad. This way you can stamp a design and easily add glitter.
Another stamp I got is a bleach pad. This is so cool because I had been using a paint brush and container of bleach on my paper. This is even better! You stamp the image. Let it dry and then go over it with an iron and poof. Image is bleached. Oh, I do this on dark paper, not white (LOL).
The store is just down the street from the mall that is located on the corner of 41st and Western. But before you get to 46th Street. The awnings in the photo are pink, but currently they are brown.

I really enjoy going to TJ Maxx. The only thing is you have to have the time to dig through the racks of clothes. At this location, the clothes are packed on the racks. When they have clearance clothes, the prices are pretty darn good. But there again, you have to want to dig.
I love going through the home decor items. What they get changes so much. I have gotten a really cool mirror and tons of unique picture frames.
The shoes sometimes aren't the best selection, but the prices are good and the clearance prices, well, those are always good.
There are also purses, luggage, underware, pantyhose, perfume, jewelry, mens clothes/underwear, toys, kids clothing, bedding, towels.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the one hour processing cost less if you "push" your digital photos through yourself verses send "out" to have them printed.
The gentleman behind the counter informed me of this and it was much appreciated.
The quality of the printing is very good. The only part I'm not thrilled with is that sometimes they don't take the time to center the photo or do any adjustments.
You can make all of those adjustments yourself. The only draw back is you have to stand there and do it. The least they could do is have a stool to sit on. I'm usually there for quite some time going through a CD of 200-400 photos. Takes a little bit of time you know.

We love going to this theater for a couple of reasons. First the price is $4 for adults and $3 for kids and matinees.
Second is for the popcorn. You get to put the liquid butter on yourself. Also during the movie, you can flag an usher to get you more popcorn. I really like that feature of this theater.
The owner had come out to introduce himself before the movie. That is not something you will find at the big theaters.

I particularly like the picket fence that has bunny for Easter, turkey for November, stars for July and so on. The wooden pieces you get and stick in a pumpkin to make a turkey are cool too. All items are hand painted.

She also makes some awesome beads with glass as well. I can not remember what that type of bead is called, but they are cool! They have flecks of gold and swirls of color and she turns them into a pendant.

Economy Auto Repair is located next to Pizza Hut in Marion. You might miss it, but do stop. They do oil changes at a pretty low price as well. The parking is not so great nor is it so wonderful to try and get back out on 7th Avenue. The service is excellent and very friendly. The guy took the time to explain things and was up front about the prices.
They are laid back and no pressure sales. I really appreciate that.
