This is a locally owned bank, hence the name. They are very friendly and easy going. They definately cater to the locals with their special accounts. There are several branches throughout the county offering normal bank services. They don't however, offer online banking or the new services that most banks have started offering so if you are into new aged banking, this probably isnt the bank for you.

I love CVS, especially my local store. This store is awesome. They are always offering deals with getting Extrabucks back after purchasing certain items. I just love this it is great. The people at the local CVS are always so friendly and always asking me how me and the kids are doing when I first walk in. They really make me feel good about going in there, they know us by name and know the friends that I shop with and make a point to ask how they are when they aren't with me.

This place is always packed beyond capacity, because the food is so good. My mother and I go here on Sundays to pick up take-out sometimes and have to stand in a line to get in the door just to place our order. The wait is definately worth it. There aren't many tables in here but the food is definately worth being crammed in for, and the proof is in the wait just to get to the door. If you enjoy true chinese cuisine please go try Nam Fong.

This guy has so many books I couldn't look at them all in one day. There are shelves after shelves of books, and the shelves are packed with these wonderful used books. He will take trades as well as cash for his books which makes it even a better deal for an avid reader. There were books in here that I know had to be rare cause I couldn't find them on ebay or half.com.

Our local Save-A-Lot has some wonderful prices on frozen appetizer and frozen dinners. When I'm in need of quick food I make sure and stop here first, usually the prices are about half of what the grocery stores charge for the exact same thing. I have come across some other really good deals throughout the store but the frozen food section is my favorite.

Their clearance is the best with their dot prices going to up to 95% off the already low Beall's price. I have bought baby items for pennies literally. You aren't always guarenteed to find what you want on the sale rack, but if you go in often enough you can get lots of great deals.

If you are you should find out where your local One Stop Workplace is located. When I walked in here armed with only my resume typed from my home computer, I was greeted with a smile. They steered to me one of many computers where I could sit and search their database full of local jobs. Then they were nice enough to help me redo my resume in a better format and gave me several printed on nice paper. They have even followed up with me and faxed out several resumes when I call and say that I've found a potential employeer on their website. I would highly recommend them to anyone I meet looking for a job.

Jernan's Cafe has moved to a new location in downtown Inverness. My kids were so upset when we drove by their own address and saw they had closed down, they have the best ice cream. When I noticed their sign next to a reopened restaurant my friend and I changed our plans and stopped in for lunch. They have a short selection of things for lunch and breakfast, but the food is good, and it is truly a small town atmosphere, all the waitresses know the regulars, and I got was there when one came in with new pictures of her grandkids. All the staff had to stop by her table to see all the pictures and talk to her about them, it was so nice to see in this fast paced world of ours.
They make their own ice cream and the prices are really good on all their food. The service is great as usual. I had definately missed Jernan's while they were closed and moving.
