This is all to be gotten at GoBears in Schriever, plus more. Did you know that GoBears in Schriever has a Daquiri shop located to the left side of the building which has three of the hottest video poker machines in the area? Also did you know that GoBears in Schriever stays open until 12 midnight Wednesdays through Saturdays for all of your late night shopping? Also GoBears has great prices on cigarettes by the single pack, but also by the carton and the B1G1free deals are always plentiful here.
So if you are low on gas, food, or daquiris be sure to check out GoBears in Schriever, you won't be sorry that you did.

OK I did reviews on two other pumpkin patches in the area, but the pumpkin patch at the United Methodist Church in Thibodaux is the area's original pumpkin patch.
My brother and I have been going to this pumpkin patch for 11 years now and even though we are both grown, it's still a special time for us to bring our kid brother and sister to. It's just something about picking out the perfect pumpkin here vs. the grocery store or walmart.
But wait it gets better, not only do they sell the pumpkins, but they also sell indian corn and gourds for all of your fall decorating needs.
The patch is open every saturday through October, from 10 AM til dark. Located at the church's recreation room, the adress is 1255 Canal Blvd. and will provide the children with games, pumpkin painting, crafts, story-time characters, and food.
So if you are in the area, check it out...

The costumes are rather pricey, but if you want something unique and that fits well, this is the place to be. They also have very detailed mask for the ocassion, costume accessories to build your own costume, and very good face paints that don't wash away with the first sign of sweat beading up.
We have dealt with them for several years, for this or that and have always been pleased, Margo, the owner, is quite a business woman and with her customer satisfaction is always #1.
The shop is located in downtown Thibodaux at 604 W 3rd street.

They also have costumes, accessories to create your own costume, face paints,fake nails, and fake teeth. It can all be gotten here at Target for a reasonable price and beat the crowds of those large discount stores the day before Halloween.

The dollar tree is the best place to shop for your halloween items. Whether it's decorations, trinkets, candy, drinking cups, pencils, or candy bags, the dollar tree has it. But i do recommend you get there soon as the items are going fast and I don't know that anymore will be ordered.
The candy is not the name brand candy, except for Mary Jane's. The candy is the off brand of candy, so keep that in mind if you will be getting your candy stash here.
At the dollar tree enough treat bags can be done for a class of 20 for under ten bucks and the kids will be more than happy with the selection of items in the bags.

They have the chocolate chips, they have the candy molds, lollipop sticks, the candy wraps, everything is in one place.
The items here are rather pricey, but there's nothing in the area to compare it too.
All supplies can be bought here for the other holidays as well, plus they have more than ample supplies of wedding needs, cake toppers, cake knifes, you name it they have it.
They are located on Main street in Houma, right across the bayou from Zack's yogurt shop.

Scrap shack has all the necessary sheets and supplies needed to update, but how cute would it be if you took one of the extensive lines of paper and updated your child's scrapbook for halloween. The paper is a bit more expensive than Michel's, but the theme selection is more extensive.
The other themes that I noticed were disney,sports, dancing, school, and baby, and that's just what I happened to notice.

Peltier's Park is once again going to be the place for the 2nd annual Halloween festival for the Schriever lion's club.All proceeds of this festival will benefit schriever lion's club, Louisiana lion's club camp, & Louisiana Lions club eye foundation.
This will be held on October 14th between 10-2 and should be fun for all. They will have games, horse rides, pumpkin patch, silent auctions, dunking booth and plenty of food selections to satisfy all taste buds.
