Not what I expected at all.. I have heard such good things about this place but the payout just wasn't all that.
This location is really just kind of a walk in stand.
The inside was cold and uninviting. In fact on a December evening they keep the door open!
There did not seem to be much activity going on. No smell of Mexican food cooking or even grills going.
The tortilla chips are not fresh but from bags which were plainly in site and I have to also assume the tortillas were also not made on-site.
Dont get me wrong. The food is very authentic and above average but I just could not get past the whole set-up even for a stand.
I am a Mexican food fanatic and will likely give these guys another shot. Maybe I shall wait until it warms up!?

The bottom line here is Aaron Brothers Art & Framing has some very nice and affordable pre-made (ready to frame yourself) framing. However if you need them to do anything (such as a special frame or request a border) its insanely priced and while I never followed through with having them do the work I seriously question their competence.
I stood around waiting for the customers in front of me to discuss their matters and when I finally got my turn I realized what had taken them all so long.. The girl (who truly appeared to be about 16 years of age did not have a clue. The responses to most of my questions seemed to start or end with "I think..."
Also I explained right off the bat that I needed it that day (it was a very simple request) and the girl behind the counter continued the discussion only to tell me 15 mins later into it to tell me that it was impossible to do what I needed the same day or even next day.

I find the store to smell like cheap candles to the point of nausea and once spent an hour in store looking for a wedding gift for someone before finally leaving feeling defeated.
Now you would certainly think you'd be able to find a simple wedding gift at a place called Bed Bath & Beyond wouldn't you?
I made the mistake of coming back for a final pass through looking for a duvet or bedspread for my daughter and spent just about as much time before leaving when I came to the realization that all they had was just really poorly made stuff being sold at ridiculous prices for what they are.
Ill stick to Linens and Things www.lnt.com for future purchases if I have a need for this type of store.
Or better yet.. Macys.

There are no good deals at Staples. I have found myself in there a handful of times in dire need of something and have come to the terms that they are overpriced and dont really carry a great selection of things such as computer supplies and such.
On the subject of price.. I had received a $10 gift certificate to Staples for some odd reason and went in to use it.. By the time I bought my small bundle of school supply items I found that I was basically paying what I would have at any other "normal" store with competitive prices.

Recently stayed in Oahu and found this place to be the bearer of the grandest Mai Tais.
Located in the rear of the one of the swankiest hotels in all of Oahu (Halekulani).
For the most part most of the restaurants have the same layout there on the beach, however H w/o K has the best delivery of all!
Every night at sunset they offer live music out under a century-old Kiawe tree overlooking the ocean with service which cannot be beat.
The now $8 Mai-Tais seem like a bargain.
Get there early.. It fills up fast!

We took my daughter out for her Bday to the Old Spaghetti factory this week it was quite busy when we arrived. Since they do not take reservations we knew we would have to wait it out.. BUT we planned to go somewhere else if we were going to have to wait too long..
We were told by the Receptionist that it would be no longer than 30-40 minutes, which was longer than we were wanting but nevertheless we decided to hang out as it would take that long to go to our plan B restaurant.
Well to make a long story short we got our table but only after waiting an hour and 15 minutes!!!
Everyone was miserable by the time we were seated and we had been literally checking in every 5 minutes wondering about our table status.
The humorus (not so) part was that their excuse was that they were waiting on a "special" table for us.
The special table amounted to 1 small square table and one small round table pushed together for a makeshift large table for the 8 of us (when I must add there were numerous large empty tables surrounding us!
I would like to say that the dinner made up for it but I don't think I need to spell out that The Spaghetti factory is known for their fine cuisine! Its pretty bland.. which though was many steps up from the Customer Service we experienced.
I will not be rushing back to this place!

Meeting up with 12 others for dinner for a nice outdoor dinning experience seemed to be an impossible feat. However upon a little research on JudysBook I found Bluwater Bistro. We were able to get a table reserved with no hassle and the within hours of our time of arrival!
They were very accommodating and the food and drinks were perfect!
As someone else had commented the restaurant itself indoors does seem a bit run down a bit in decor.. almost giving it an 'unclean' feeling but the perfect setting on the water and the great service more than made up for it.
I would not hesitate to return to BluWater!

I couldn't believe just how cool some of the outfits were in this place.
Not just pop tees but full outfits, jackets, shoes!
The tees I must say were super cool. Picture a Ramones tee for your 1yr old... or my favorite, a 'poopyhead' tee of our president.
Pop Tots is also equipped with a collection vintage clothing from all hippest years of your life.
If you are in the U-District.. This place is definitely worth checking out!

Thanks to a couple of your suggestions I went ahead and took the car to Magnolia Hi Fi and I must say I'm glad I did. They got me in the next day and did a very high quality job.
It was very obvious from the get go that these folks knew their stuff. Their friendly staff offered suggestions without trying to sell me anything, did exactly what I wanted, and I walked away two a very satisfied customer.
I visited the branch on Roosevelt across from Whole Foods and while I waited there were a few other cool businesses to check out while I waited (Pop Tots rocks).
If I ever needed to do this again I would return to Magnolia Hi-Fi!

This week we were looking for someplace nice to sit outside and enjoy the sun and have a nice dinner in West Seattle.
I was thrilled when I heard that there was what was to be a new "authentic Mexican" restaurant on Alki.
Sadly however from the moment of our arrival the whole experience was atrocious!
After being seated it was 30 minutes before I finally went looking for a waitress (as it seemed obvious we weren't ever going to see one)! At that point we realized nobody knew who our waitress was supposed to be!
We ordered our food and it came 30 minutes later.. not all at once but plate by plate! One every 5 minutes!!!!!
We requested corn tortillas and they told us they had run out. The plate's rice and beans had a dry crusty surface as if it had been sitting out on a counter for quite some time (yuck).
The margaritas tasted like they were infused with Sprite and had no resemblance to any margarita I have ever tasted!
While we waited in pain we observed other people fidgeting at their tables as well and calling over waitresses and arguing so I think its safe to say this is the experience everyone else was having as well.
We ended our experience by the waitress bringing us the credit card slip with no pen.. leaving me to have to go track her down to get a pen so we could FINALLY exit. Coyote.. We shall never meet again..
