Double DD meats in mountlake terrace is the end all be all for BBQ and just plain fun.
the former reviews already covered the variety,somewhere in the neighborhood of 3000 sauces marinades and spices.
Homemade sausages/brawts in like 40 flavors,deli meat FRESH ,cheeses of all types at prices you cant touch anywhere.
the steaks are second to NONE ,you ask how can meat vary from place to place?? doesnt every piece of beef come from common livestock ??
the answer is in the years of experience that goes into the aging of the beef and the skill in which its cut ,noone does this better than Double DD meats.
Over the years ive come to expect a good cut of meat from them,i have no doubt its gonna be good, i have never got a bad one EVER!!
But the FREE BONUS i get when i go there is the people,they are simply awesome!! I love to tease the people there and they are not afraid to put me right in my place as well (i hate kiss ass ingenuine service) if you give em crap they will give you crap right back :) I LOVE THIS cause its all in fun and shows me they are genuine.
the bottom line is the girls at the counter will bend over backwards to help you (and who wouldnt love to see that ;)
when i have tough or obscure questions Kim ,Cindy,and Julie are my go to people,Kim is the owner and always has time and a smile for me (and the occasional sassy comment to lift my day) these people are REAL and i trust them with my meat.
So dont let a stranger handle your meat!@!
Get to know Double DD meats , just stop in for a howdy do ,a smile and a verbal knock upside the head if ya really need one !!!
Oh yeah they have some really fun gift items here too ,shirts with great sayings on them ...one i like has a dog riding a horse with a drunk cowboy behind the dog in the saddle ...the caption is "designated driver" LOL.
I also got one for my brother a nice 300lb guy ..it says Fat People are Harder To Kidnap!! LOL he LOVES it.
In short ,if you dont go see this place your not hurting anyone but yourself.

This place was recommended by a friend a while ago. I have lived in the edmonds/mtlk terr area for years but had never heard of this place. I went there with some friends to check it out and let me just say my hungry friend made a mistake by ordering two slices of pizza. They were huge!! This place is a little hole in the wall and you would easily drive right past it. It's a very small place that is great if you and a few buds want to have some really great pizza and one of thier big cheap beers. The pizza has thick crust, tons of toppings and really great sauce. The pizza is a little greasy but isn't that the point? The only downfall is that they don't deliver.
Pros: beer, tv's, value
Cons: no delivery

This is a great small town supermarket. It seems clean and fairly well organized. The staff all seems friendly and helpful. We have only lived here a month, but have been making weekly trips for items from their sales flyer, especially produce and meat. It would be nice if they had a bakery and deli, but they probably don't get quite enough traffic for those departments.
Pros: Good produce, meat and sales
Cons: No deli or bakery

I have been searching for great greek food in Seattle ever since I returned from Greece. I have a love for all things Greek. I have found several good places in Seattle, but the last place I thought I would find something was in MountLake Terrace. I would never have known this little place set aside from the road was a hub bub of great greek delights. From the outside it looks like just a tiny burger pit. But it is amazying! Don't let the outside appearance keep you away. ON the inside great people & people await you. I have yet to try a burger but the gyro and the cretan salad are amazying. Their sunday morning breakfasts that others always have look great too. I just haven't been enough times yet to try it. What excited me the most is that the gyro's have french fries in them!! JUST LIKE IN GREECE!!! I have been adding my own fries to my gyro ever since I went to greece. I finally found a place that will do it for me without looking at me strange!!! The family is also really great. The food is fresh ..delicious. Keep this place in business try it out now!
Pros: Authentic Gyros; Cretan Salad; Service; Great People

This pool was recommended to us from a friend who invited us to take the kids for a play date. We love this pool since and been taking our kids for leisure swimming. We also enrolled our daughter for swimming lessons. The instructors are very professional and work well with kids. The pool maintains an 88 degree temperature and provides all the safety equipment such as life vests for all ages, floatation and water toys.

I was really impressed with how this dealership cut through the BS I experienced at Honda dealers in Bellevue and Kirkland. I called them up requesting a quote on an Accord, they beat the best one I got at Bellevue, and gave me a fair price on the trade. They also don't put on the fluff (read: mandatory options like wheel locks) that the other area dealers do. The quote I received was good indefinitely - no "tonight only" tactics. Even though I could have probably haggled a bit more to save a couple hundred bucks, I rewarded their honesty and took the deal.
The business manager (aka the guy that tries to sell you the worthless stuff like rustproofing) applied less pressure than I would have figured. Overall it was as hassle-free as car buying gets and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend them to others.
