From the minute you step into Houma Glass, you can tell it's a family owned business. I have been ordering glass from them for several projects over the years, and have never been disappointed in their product or service. Their installers are always punctual and thorough at their jobs. Their office staff is always pleasant to deal with, both in person and on the phone. They are a local company and like to work with other local companies, so if you have a glass need and you are involved in a local company, or an out of town rep working to get materials ready for your houma project, give them a call and see what they can do for you. Their prices are reasonable and you'll love the way you're treated.

Mr. Lloyd is the friendliest guy you can meet. He goes out of his way to keep you informed on your medications. What we like about him is his prompt delivery service. He is a little further out of town, but his delivery service is terrific. It has really come in handy for some of our older family members who cannot get around as well.

The indoor playplace in this establishment is huge, great for kids to play in and even make new friends in the process, believe me, I have seen it done before.
The birthday parties are awesome, but be on time, because if you are late, that's taken away from the total hours allowed per party.
As far as service recieved during and after ordering and the food quality, it does leave alot to be desired. I don't recommend this restraurant for those two above reasons unless you are there for the playplace or the birthday parties.
I have been there many times before and had my foods fixed wrong, as in completely, then the employee tell me "that's what you ordered", yet my reciept says different.
The lobby of the restraurant can often be found dirty, with people loitering around taking up table space. No need to complain to management as it's some of the employees family and friends.

Big Wheels is one of the best stocked truck plazas in the area for items pertained to trucking. Whether it's an adapter for DC/AC converter, a part for the CB antenae, or logbooks it's all to be found here at Big Wheels.
The store shelves are very well stocked with grocery and snack items as well as the coolers being overstocked with cold beer and drinks, and even the gallon juice drinks is on ice.
They have a large coffee/fountain drink area, just perfect for getting that early morning coffee or late afternoon soda to cool ya off.
The downfall of Big Wheels is that if you are paying with the FTS fuel card, the registers don't approve this automatically as at other truck plazas and the card has to be called in. I have waited up to 45 minutes for card approval, 45 minutes late at getting to my destination.
Big wheels is opened 24 hours a day, very well lit areas, cleaned parking lots and restrooms.

I have been to this establishment several times and each time recieved excellent foods, hot burgers and fries, cold sodas, etc, but the service and hospitality of some of the people working at this place of business leaves alot to be desired. Certain employees are quite rude, whether it be not greeting the customers or thanking them for eating there, to the way the employees are treated by other staff.
I know the quality of work that mcdonald's expects from thier employees and this place doesn't live up to it's expectations.
PROS: clean inside and out, huge playplace
CONS: hospitality of employees leaves alot to be desired
