This is a great store in the Battlefield Mall. They have a wide selection from paper cards to photo albums and gift items. During the holidays they carry beautiful ornaments and may great gifts. There seasonal gifts and after season sales are wonderful. I've found many clearance items that were price remarkably low and were good quality. This is a very nice store overall, with good customer service.

They're famous for chocolate. It's rich, smooth and absolutely delicious. And who doesn't know where it came from when they see that beautiful gold box. That's right, I'm talking about Godiva. Oh, it's true that their chocolate is more pricey than your standard box of chocolates at the local grocery or department store, but the flavor and the quality is so much better. Even a little box from Godiva is worth the price for pampering.

Kirkland's at the Battlefield Mall has some great home interior items. What impressed me was how reasonable things were, and sometimes much cheaper than other similar home interior type stores. They have a wide selection, everything from knick knack type items to art for your walls. If you're looking for that extra "little something" for your home, this is a place to visit.

It sounds silly, I know, but we have kids and I want my car to smell as good as my house. How do I accomplish that? It seems like something is always being spilled or getting wet and leaving the car smelling musty and disgusting. Well, besides using cleaning products, like Resolve, to clean everything up, I also get some great products from The Body Shop. Their oils are great for using in the special lighter plug ins (the ones you add a few drops of oil to every time you want the scent to be stronger) you use to scent your car. Now, my car smells great.

I like El Chico's. It's close to the mall, that's a plus! The service is quick and friendly. The facilities are clean and decorated nicely. There's a good atmosphere as well. The food is more tex-mex than authentic Mexican, but that's normal for Missouri. Overall, it's a fun place to eat.

How does a warm, soft pretzel sound? Auntie Anne's has some terrific pretzels. My personal fave is the cinnamon sugar. It literally melts in your mouth as you eat it (and makes you want to lick your fingers afterward, I know very unmannerly;). They have sweet and salty and even spicy varieties along with special dipping sauces to add even more flavor. This is a great place to stop for a snack.

The Cheesecake Factory is a great restaurant. The regular menu is great. There is a wide selection of foods to choose from and they taste delicious. However, the dessert menu is where the Cheesecake Factory excels. I have never seen as many choices of flavors for cheesecake. These aren't little skinny flavorless cheesecakes either. They are thick, and absolutely yummy. If you like Cheesecake or just want a good meal, this is the place for you.

I think every girl should have a chance to visit Disneyland in her lifetime. When I stepped into Disneyland and saw that beautiful castle (it's so gorgeous at night), I thought I would cry. My mom raised me on bedtime stories of Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White. I am now doing the same thing with my own daughter. We had such a wonderful time. My kids were amazed by all of the characters. I can't wait to go back when they are a little older. My daughter will be one of those little blonde headed girls in line with a pen and autograph book for the princesses to sign.

You would be amazed what you can find at your local Dollar General Store. Recently I have found a little dress up tutu, a Disney Princess foam puzzle, Disney Princess books and toys and dress up type jewelry. These are cheaper than many things you can get at Wal-Mart and much of it good quality too. The thing about Dollar General is that it is similar to most Dollar type stores, which means they get new inventory often. So you can check back every few weeks and find some really great deals.

I love Claire's. They have everything for the "little princess" in your life. Whether it's pink stationary and pens or tiaras and frilly bows for your little girl's hair, Claire's is definitely the place to go. Have I mentioned jewelry yet? Here you can find enough rings, bracelets and necklaces to fill a treasure chest and make your little girl's eyes sparkle. (Plenty of things for us big girls too! ;) Claire's always has some special running and has great clearance sales. So if you have never been or haven't been in awhile, check it out.
