This zoo is a great place to come and relax when you're stressed about the fast-paced lifestyle that city living brings. The zoo is well maintained and you can tell they are doing the best they can with the space they've got. The gardens and flowerbeds are also very well taken care of. The best part is that it is free - just pay to park and you can spend the whole day just relaxing if you want.

This is the biggest Old Navy I have ever seen! It's easy to get lost among the racks and racks of clothes. Because the store is so big, they have room for a really big selection of clothes in all the departments. It's true that at times the lines for the dressing rooms and the checkout lines are long. It's worth it though to be able to shop in such a large store.

This is a great place to stock up on cute trendy play clothes. The quality isn't as good as some of the other more upscale stores but that only makes sense since the prices are less. Still, the clothes are cuter than you'd find at a department store and since they are so reasonably priced you can really stock up. It also really helps when you are buying for a large family.

This is a great place to bring the kids and show them what they can't see naturally here since we are not a coastal state. My girls get a real kick out of the seahorses and the tiny tiny jellyfish. We spend an entire day when we go and we take the time to really watch the sealife, not just a quick glance as we are walking by. This is a Chicago favorite!

This is a cool place to go in Chicago if you want to see a great view from an older building. I love standing in the "open air" area - you have no idea what the wind is really like till you actually feel it all around you! It can get crowded in the summer so I'd recommend late spring or early fall so that you really get a chance to experience it!

Even though I have three daughters, I just can't talk myself into buying these expensive dolls and the accessories for them. I know that they are cute, they are popular, they are trendy, whatever ... and all the matching dresses and things really are cute, but the prices are so high that I just can't justify it. What if the kids lost their doll? Or cut their hair? I just dont think these dolls are meant for us.

These doughnuts are SO good! Especially the plain glazed ones that are fresh from the oven - still warm and gooey. YUM! The restaurant is always clean and the service is friendly. There is so much to pick from but the donuts are especially sweet, so this is a once-in-a-while treat for us. I have known people who have served a tower of Krispy Kreme donuts instead of cake at their weddings. Anyway, if you've never had one you are missing out!
