My husband and I would go to GameWorks on dates, just to play some games and have fun. That was then...this is now. It is very pricey for what you get. Add that to the parking fee you will undoubtably pay, it just isn't worth it. If you're looking for some classic games though, head up to the 2nd floor! I think they're pretty inexpensive to play as well.

SO much better than Chuck E. Cheese's

After going to CEC's many times, we tried Bullwinkle's recently. WHAT A difference! There was so much more for my daughter to do and keep her happy. She quickly grew tired of being at CEC, but not so at Bullwinkles. The food was SO much better than CEC and we geniunely enjoyed our family outing to Bullwinkles.
As a word of advice, BRING Cash! The only way to get tokens is to have cash. Otherwise you'll be stuck paying $1.75 to use the cash machine.

We've been to the aquarium on many, many occasions. Great exhibits, but AVOID the summertime crowd. If it is a nice, sunny summer day, steer clear of the aquarium. It is PACKED. You will NOT enjoy it. On summer days, it is an assembly line of people filtering through the exhibits.
On off season times, your kids and guests will really enjoy it. Make sure to check out the outside exhibit!

So this Post Office is further away from me, but has SUCH better service than the Kent downtown one. The kent personnel are so incredibly RUDE. At the kent one on 104th, the workers seem to actually get some sunlight and have personality. You'll wait just about the same amount of time at either one, so use this one instead.

I don't drink coffee, but when I was looking for a good cup of hot chocolate, I stopped in here. SOOOO good! I'm pretty picky about hot chocolate (can't be the powder stuff, it has to be hershey's syrup). All the starbucks in the area use powder. We happened to be down on the waterfront and stopped in. What a pleasant suprise! Friendly staff and awesome atmosphere!

I purchased this unit in lieu of the Bose unit on the recommendation of The Sharper Image sales staff. I've had it for about a week now and it is excellent. The iPod sits seurely in the unit and includes a remote. The unit can be used both indoors and outdoors (using D batteries). I'm amazed at how much sound this small unit puts out. It is a lot heavier than I expected it to be, but not too bad. You can also hook up an external cd player to it (if anyone still has one of those!)

I won't go into the whole story of our HORRIBLE experience with Auburn Nissan, but PLEASE make sure that before you sign any document with their service department that you fully know what is covered and what is not covered. Make sure they do not perform any additional work to your car without your express permission, in writing. They are sneaky folks and try to get you to agree to work that is not covered by the warranty and then try to get you to pay the overpriced bill later. This has happened to us as well as my sister. If you need work on a Nissan, go to Renton instead.

This is a must for all pregnant and new mothers. It is an amazing store! The sales staff is exceptional and definitely know their stuff. They will be able to recommend the non-traditional items and also help you find the items that you’ll need. We were able to rent a pump from them after my daughter arrived. Having a sleep-deprived mother in the store was enough for sure, but they weren’t fazed at all. They took the time to explain all the features on the pump and answered all our questions. It is definitely worth making a trip for!

This is BY FAR my favorite consignment store. I have gone to dozens upon dozens of consignment stores only to find absolute JUNK. Other owners seem to take everything under the sun, regardless of its condition or style. You will not find that at Heaven Sent. You'll find Gymboree, Gap, Hanna Andersson, Baby Lulu, Janie and Jack and others not so well known sellers.
The staff is VERY picky about what they will take, and as a buyer, I appreciate it greatly.
Sure, there prices are higher than other consignment stores, but I know that when I walk into the doors there, I won't have to go through loads of crappy clothes to find something decent. I easily find nice clothes for my kids there.
