We stopped in to purchase our park tickets to Disneyworld here and came during a good sale. It had some fabulouse deals! We were able to pick up some disney dolls for under $10 a piece, clothing, lunchboxes, and misc. stocking stuffer type items there for our nieces and birthday presents. We couldn't have spent more than $80, but we were stocked up for a year!

So I love Gymboree clothing for my daughter. I love the Bellevue location. The northgate store though is a close 2nd. They seem to have the same sort of selection, but the store isn't nearly as packed as others I've been too. They also have a very friendly sales staff and are willing to help locate sizes you need. Their selection may not include the same items as the Bellevue store, but they are definitely worth a stop in to.

I haven't ever had the priviledge of staying here, but attended a wedding for my cousin here. Absolutely amazing. Their reception was held in one of the rooms right on the water. The catering staff did an amazing job with the food, and the hotel staff did an amazing job of making sure their reception went off without a hitch. Definitely a 5 star location for a wedding!

We stopped by the Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery for an early dinner on a Friday night. It was busy, but we were seated promptly. The waiter was very accommodating and although it was busy, we didn't feel under-served. I ordered the Macaroni and Cheese, but it wasn't as good as I imagined it would be. My advice, stick to something you know you'll like.

I stayed at the Red Lion on 5th Ave after winning a bid on Priceline. I believe it was between $80-95 per night. The rooms were comfortable, tastefully decorated and well staffed. We requested a crib for our daughter and they promptly brought one up. The views are not outstanding, but you're mainly paying for the location of being right in the heart of downtown. You can't go wrong with this hotel!

I agree with the other reviewers, FANTASTIC views of the water, great atmosphere. We've visited on our wedding anniversary or a special evening out and have always enjoyed it there. I especially love the Mahi Mahi and my husband enjoys the Swordfish. For a special treat, try the Creme Brulee. You will not be disappointed! If in doubt, ask the waiter or waitress. They've always been very helpful in recommending special dishes to us.

During the Seattle Maritime Festival this weekend, we stopped by the Odyssey Museum down on pier 66. I never knew it was even there! It was free that particular day, so we stopped in and looked around. They had lots of exhibits and activities for the kids. One was a virtual kayak experience. Others included movies, fish recognition and other fun things. Make sure you look in the oysters along some of the walls for a special treat for your little ones!

We stopped by Red Robin after the final tug boat race down in Seattle this weekend and caught a bite to eat. There were 12 of us, so we thought it would be difficult to get a table. After about a 40 minute wait, we were seated. Considering it was the Red Robin on the pier, on a Saturday, we figured that was pretty good. The waiter was friendly and helpful. They had some new and interesting dishes on their menu. One was called a Chickadilla or something close to that. It was GOOOOOOD! Stop by and give them a try!
