This is a very pricey restaurant but the food is all organic. That is a great quality that is hard to find in most restaurants. The service was okay, it seemed that they were understaffed when we visited. Sometimes you can catch the chef "Nora" walking around so look for her. She has written a lot of books. Call ahead for reservations and dress casually. Expect to spend $200 for two people.

This is located next to Safeway and Starbucks in the Pan Am Shopping Center. The parking is awful and this place is so busy at mealtimes. They have a wonderful salsa "bar" with many different varieties and spiciness of salsas. The prices are reasonable and the food is very fresh for Mexican.
I always order the chips and guacamole. That is delicious. The kids meals are reasonable with applesauce and milk on the side for $4.00.
I have also heard that they offer great catering options, especially if you are planning on having a big party or football game crowd.

This toy store has been around for a long time. That is probably how it stays in business. It is very musty and dingy. They sell more dollhouse supplies than you have ever seen in your life. They sell furniture and wallpaper and dollhouses and door frames and crown moulding, you name it, they have it. It is like a fantasy world for doll house lovers.
They also have a small selections of dolls and a good selection of PlayMobile items. I also think that they will wrap for free.

This restaurant has an-olde school charm about it. It is fairly dark and has been around for a long time. The clientele is older (40 and up) but the food is DELCIOUS! Expect to pay about $20 for a plate of pasta and about $30 for an entree-like dish. I would also classify this as an Italian-Seafood restaurant. Lots of clams and scallops and mussells on the menu.
The portions are ample but salads must be ordered as a side. You will spend quite a bit here but all the restaurants in Old Towne are expensive.

What I think is the best about this shop is the amount of what-I-call "penny toys" that this children's shop carries. They sell a lot of little windup toys and stocking stuffers that are under $5 - anything you would ever want. They have a lot of quality and unique toys made of wood and vintage and also some great classic books.
On the other hand, I do not like their clothing. It is EXTREMELY overpriced and the selection is very slim. They have cool raincoats and rainboats and hairbows. But the clothing is very European looking and pickings are VERY slim for the 2T-4T age range.
They also charge for wrapping - unheard of for a children's shop!!

We have used this credit union for many years because I was a dependent of a Navy officer. We love it because it is very close to where we live, it has easy ATMs on site (drive ups) and it is easy to get a mortgage through. They also back you up if you run into credit card theft, have something stolen or overdraw (on an accident!!) They are very good with children inside the brand and I think they give out lollipops.

This Chick-Fil-A is amazingly kid friendly and completely caters to children. The kids meals at excellent (like all Chick-Fil-A's) because they offer real chicken in their nuggets, fresh fruit for a side item, and wonderful lemonade to drink.
They have a night when you can hear Mister Don sing, they have tables dedicated for strollers, ample high chairs, breakfast with Santa and Table Toppers for the kids for FREE!
Good job Joe Emma (owner) at making it easy for moms to eat lunch at the mall!

We loved this restaurant for the uniqueness of the menu. Don't come here looking for a huge meal that will fill you up though. Instead you find unique salads, unusual pizza toppings and really good pizza dough. You can find children happily eating here while other people are eating romantically as couples. We liked trying the specials of the day and the most interesting thing we ate was the grapefruit mousse! Tom Sietsma (Washington Post) rates this a 4 star and we can now see why...

There were many fun and unique aspects to the menu. For instance, they have a hamburger platter with 4 mini-cheeseburgers offered. Their mozzerella sticks are actually patties with cornflakes crumbs coating them. Their chopped salad has a wide range of veggies including radishes!
The servers and hostesses were a little slow and disorganized but for the price, who can complain? http://www.starlandcafe.com/menu.htm
