I absolutely adore Kate's Paperie. My sister got her wedding invitations done here and the service was great. They sell beautiful paper by the foot- quite expensive for paper, but sometimes when you want to make a nice scrapbook or write an old-fashioned snail mail, it's worth it. They also carry lovely stationery, photo albums, and hand-made cards. more

If Rainbow Bright decided to open her own stationary store in New York it would most likely look like Kate's Paperie. It's amazing the variety of selection Kate's have. You can find all kinds of paper selections and invitations can be custom made in the back of the store. The prices go from fairly priced to moderately expensive. It's fun to browse around in. more

Paper with Personality 8/21/2005

I went in this store to buy a gift and ended up staying for an hour. I’ve always enjoyed writing, and this is the perfect store for it. I ended up buying a unique address book, a journal, and different types of paper to use as stationary (I still write letters with a pen). I was also inspired to make my own graduation announcements, given the plethora of paper with all sorts of designs and colors! more

Kate's Paperie has it all when it comes to the niche that it conquered. You can sit down with one of the staff and order stationary or announcements to be printed that will be impressive. There are collections of photo albums, fountain pens, blank greeting cards, blank stationary and the best wrapping paper anywhere. If you are into pretty things and especially if you are willing to pay for them (or if you just want to get some inspiration for making your own birthday cards), Kate’s Paperie is the place for you. The stores are filled with beautiful cards, wrapping paper, photo albums, blank notebooks and wedding stationery that Hallmark’s collections cannot compare with. Its creative services unit also provides customized business solutions, gift wrap and printing services. more

great selection of stationery 8/18/2005

I've been going to Kate's for everything from pre-made thank you cards to handmade papers for a craft project for several years now. It is my favorite store for such things because they have such a great selection. I even had friends who made their own wedding invites using materials from Kate's. They have papers of every color, style, thickness, and size as well as envelopes to match. The only negative is that things are not cheap there, but the quality and service is excellent. more
