I would just like to say in BMW of Manhattans defense and the service dept, I have driven BMWs for 20 years, and I have never had a better service experience than at BMW of Manhattan, I went there before Mr. Demersky took over, and bring my car in now, and I have to say service has never been better, Phil Demersky does everything in his power to keep his customers happy and our cars in perfect shape, he is honest, and has our best interest at heart, I would recommend them if you want the best for your car!

the x5 was @ the dealership for 3 and 1/2 weeks.There was a computer problem that led to a huge backlog of vehicles that had to be reprogrammed. Besides that the staff was extremely attentive and courteous. I was constantly informed by Jia of all updates and progress.i give the customer service 5 stars?

When I was looking for a small SUV for the winter, I went to Toyota of Manhattan to look at a Rav4. They were very helpful and friendly. At that time, I told them I was looking at other vehicles and they let me test drive the Rav4 with just a copy of my license. The dealer itself was very nice and they also had a big selection fo Rav4s when i was there. At the end, they were very professional and advised to cal him if we had any questions.

This is the best place to biy or service your Mercedes-Benz. The service advisors are waiting for you when arrive, standing in the entrance with mobile laptops to address your needs quickly and get you on your way there was no waiting ime to bring in the car and they had a loaner available as well. Years ago the service wasn't perfect but it is now.

I walked in the dealership and it took almost 20 min to get salesperson. After speaking with the salesperson I walk out because of the bad vibe. I thought buying a new car was exciting but not at Manhattan Motor Cars took that away.

The people at Toyota of Manhattan are nice, but nice won't fix my car the right way.
I was told I had to have parts of my A/C replaced, and after I went to pick up my car, I was driving upstate in hot weather, A/C on Med-High with Lukewarm air blasting out - then my daughter in the passengers seat tells me there is water dripping on her feet. I call Toyota and tell them this, they have me bring the car back in (a huge inconvenience between the train ride downtown and the 20 minute walk over to the west side highway). I was not apologized to by anyone because of their mess-up.
On a separate occasion, I had to go in for a tire, oil & battery change and to have a piece of the side molding reattached since it had come off. I was talked into a couple of extras, which ended up being just under $2,000. When I went to pick up the car, not only had they NOT reattached the piece I had asked them to, but they had ALSO knocked off a piece of the back molding while the car was in the shop, and just threw it in the front seat with the one they had not reattached. I complained, and again, was not apologized to, and was told to call my service provider in the morning and bring the car back in the next day (another huge inconvenience since I use my car for work).
Needless to say, between the half-ass jobs that are done here, the high labor-rates they charge, and the fact that I am always getting talked into unnecessary fixes, I will NEVER be returning to Manhattan Toyota again. I always leave there with a sour taste in my mouth from the service, and they've had 5 chances and failed at every single one.
Do not bring your car here!!!
Pros: People are friendly
Cons: Half-done work, high prices.

cause these guys are the worst. sure they can sell new cars like anyone else but when it comes to service, forget about it. i have a land rover which is notorious for breaking down by the way. i leave messages trying to arrange for an appointment and they dotn call back. when i finally get a hold of somoene they make it feel like they are doing you a favor when they charge $500 or whatever for letting your car into their area. and i often can't get appointments until a month out - some good that does when the check engine light is on. i would never buy a car from this place again
