Very pleased with my results after my treatments for my legs with Gentle Touch. I started here before they got rid of one employee, can't say her name but she was a B*tch. But now they have brought back Suzanne and her along with Gina are a great team. They seem to know their stuff better too. So my results took about two sessions to really see a huge difference and after that a major reduction and loss of hair. Makes my skin feel soo soft. If you are tired of shaving then you must give laser hair removal a try! I hated the fact of shaving everyday and especially before a night out. It was dreadful having in-growns until I met Gina, who is now my technician at Gentle Touch. I actually met her at Sephora, down the block from her office. She was there during her lunch hour, just like me, and I questioned her uniform and she explained everything from there. It was like having a consultation out of her office, she is soo sweet! I came in the following week and began treatments right away. I had already basically heard the laser hair removal 101 when I met her so I jumped right into treatments. Now after my treatments I am virtually hair free and sooo happy! Throughout my whole treatments she was very thorough with the laser and I never had to go in for touch-ups. Management is very involved and I get calls after every treatment. I did miss one appointment but was able to come in the next day. As my title says "" SAY GOODBYE TO SHAVING!"". I am sooo pleased with my results from hair removal @ Gentle Touch Laser. This group of people, in Manhattan, are wonderful. I feel like I have a very close relationship with them. Everytime I come in for my appointment I am greeting with a smile, technicians know exactly how sensitive I am in parts of my body. Results are amazing and I can't believe how much time out of my day I was wasting with shaving. If you treat with Gina ask her to use her touch techniques, it is so comforting if you are a little nervous about laser at first. It is soo simple and cheap that I don't understand why people are still shaving or even painful waxing. Appointments are best done late or early because most hours they are busy. When I first moved to Manhattan I wanted to continue doing my laser treatments with a company that used the same laser where I was getting excellent results. Found Gentle Touch Laser on the laser companies website and they also highly recommended them. Did my consultation with Suzanne, she explained everything in detail. I have also meet with Gina to do a few treatments and also Dora. They are all very sweet ladies. They all have very different techniques but have delivered excellent results. Only thing I have an issue with is booking on Saturdays, which seem to get booked fast. Wish they would open on Sundays. Customer service is top-notch, can always get a hold of someone, even an owner. I have spoken to two who are very friendly and professional. Pricing is very reasonable considering the laser they use and the sophistication of the center. You are not paying for waterfalls and scented rooms but for expert laser treatments. I REALLY HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH GINA AT GENTLE TOUCH LASER. SHE OFFERED TO DO A TEST SPOT AND NO PRESSURE TO BUY A PACKAGE. After having 8 treatments at another center in Midtown and not getting anywhere I began my search for a more professional center. Gave Gentle Touch a call and was fortunate to speak with Mark. He really knows his stuff, he explained to me why the Yag laser is best for my skin type, I am dark skinned and very sensitive. I am doing my treatment with Gina for my face and sometimes I do my full body with the other tech. So far only two treatments and such a major difference from the old place. I went in to gentle touch laser today and the people are just so great and personable and really wanted to help me. i told them i had previous done laser before and was not impressed and they really put my mind at ease they are going to help me reach my goals and will do what it takes b/c i can tell you they just want me to be a satisfied client they take pride in their place. you will see how clean and nice it is. it was the prettiest one i have been to. They ROCK!! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and explained everything I should expect. They gave me a realistic idea of how much hair could be removed, and didn't pressure me at all. I felt absolutely comfortable and well looked after. Laserfacials are great also....works great on brown spots and fine lines. I've had three hair removal treatments now, and I don't even see any growth. It is painless and Oh My God, you are smooth like a babies bottom!!!! I'm thrilled with the results. The staff at Gentle Touch has to be by far the best group of people to run a spa like center in the city. Most places I have been to people are so snotty and rude. Here they are so personable and friendly, sweet and hilarious, and they truly care for your concerns and skin needs. I was so apprehensive about this treatment, but they made the whole process so easy and comfortable. Plus, it really works! I'm so happy with the results and can't wait to go back! I had a great experience with Gina at Gentle Touch Laser. She is very educated about lasers and during treatments makes me feel very comfortable. When I first started I wasn't very sure about laser and if it really worked. You hear a lot of mixed stories. I did an extensive amount of research before coming here and one of my main reason was that they use a Cynosure laser, seems to be a very reputable machine. I had hair removal before at other places in Manhattan but it has not even compared to here and just speaking to some of the other people, they seem to be completely clueless. I do not feel comfortable with someone running a laser on me that doesn't know the industry. I have mainly done my treatments with Gina, but have had a few treatments with Suzanne as well. There is a third girl but I haven't met her yet, they all seem to be very professional. I met with the owner once, for my initial consultation because they were super busy and he stepped in to help . At first I felt a little off speaking to him about my Brazilian I wanted to have done, but he was so professional and seemed like he knew almost all the details to every thing about laser. This is a huge plus for me when you see management and the owners working closely with clients. So far 5 treatments on bikini and underarm, great results with about 99% hair loss. There was a few during my last treatment but after a few free touch ups I expect to be completely smooth. If you plan to booked an appointment I would say give at least a few days, this way you know you will be seen. I initially came with my girlfriend and ended up getting a package for my back. They had a great place and the staff was so nice. We did our consultation with Mark, I believe he is the owner, very informative and a no B*llsh*t type of guy. They worked with us on a payment type plan and everything worked out perfect. We were able to take advantage of their buy one get one package. We did our first treatment that day and they made us feel so comfortable. I had been shopping for a while but they were the only laser center that would work out a payment plan for us and on top of that they know their stuff. I went to the new location and I am very impressed, my service was fabulous and the staff is very friendly and professional, they made me feel very comfortable, I went in nervous but came out so relax and my skin looks great hair free. I look forward to my next visit and I am bringing my sister with me. The new managers are so professional and I really like their quality control. You can tell they have good training based on my conversation with them. The seem to know so much more about laser than most other places I have been to. After having almost a dozen treatments at another reputable center in the city, I finally had enough with spending so much and not seeing a major improvement. This old center kept giving me the excuse ""some people require more treatments"", ok I can understand that but not twice as much. I was explaining to my cousin how horrible my results were and she recommended to get in touch with Gentle Touch, her friend was going their for her legs and bragged about her results. I gave them ago and was very impressed with my phone conversation. I was explaining my results and they place I was going to. They told me the center actually has a nice machine but most likely wasn't familiar with the setting or wasn't experienced enough. I decided to come in and speak with them face to face. I was expected a fancy spa but it is actually a normal medical office. This was a little more comforting because the old place was just some spa looking place, didn't seem to professional. I actually met with the owner, Mark, and he is so passionate and knowledgeable about his business. He gave me a patch test to show me how the hairs would shed, something this other place never did. A few weeks later I noticed the hairs falling out and not coming back. I never saw this at the other place. I came back in and immediately started my treatments with them. It has been about 6 months now and what a world of a difference. The customer service is so much better and especially the results. This Center offered me laser packages for hair removal that fit my budget. They're very professional and they really care about the results of your treatments. I met with Gina and she took her time explaining the process. This is the only place that I know that has a calling center 24-7 that you can call if you have any questions. Gina sat with me before every appointment to make sure that things are going the way you expected. I'd really recommend anyone to give them a try. The girls at Gentle Touch are incredibly helpful and friendly. Convenient to Grand Central and almost every other train. I've had great results even after one laser hair removal treatment!
