I had a great experience with Gina at Gentle Touch Laser. She is very educated about lasers and during treatments makes me feel very comfortable. When I first started I wasn't very sure about laser and if it really worked. You hear a lot of mixed stories. I did an extensive amount of research before coming here and one of my main reason was that they use a Cynosure laser, seems to be a very reputable machine.
I had hair removal before at other places in Manhattan but it has not even compared to here and just speaking to some of the other people, they seem to be completely clueless. I do not feel comfortable with someone running a laser on me that doesn't know the industry. I have mainly done my treatments with Gina, but have had a few treatments with Suzanne as well. There is a third girl but I haven't met her yet, they all seem to be very professional. I met with the owner once, for my initial consultation because they were super busy and he stepped in to help . At first I felt a little off speaking to him about my Brazilian I wanted to have done, but he was so professional and seemed like he knew almost all the details to every thing about laser. This is a huge plus for me when you see management and the owners working closely with clients.
So far 5 treatments on bikini and underarm, great results with about 99% hair loss. There was a few during my last treatment but after a few free touch ups I expect to be completely smooth.
If you plan to booked an appointment I would say give at least a few days, this way you know you will be seen. Other than making appointments that day, I would say there is nothing wrong with Gentle Touch and their staff.
