The Management is horrible. The super at 77 Fifth Ave is lazy, and creepy and I agree he hates women. more

The management team is rude, and will not authorize fixing a toilet bowl, shades, floors, refrigerators, nothing, not one thing. The Superintendent of the buildings I've lived in HATE women, and are lazy, and mean! more

I have been renting for years, and I have never encountered a property manager as unprofessional as Grace (Senior Leasing Representative). I asked simple questions about the price of the apartment, because I knew that they had been lower for the same building a few months earlier, and she lied and denied it. Then she started screaming at me, leaning over her desk towards me and gesticulating in my face, trying to intimidate me. I had to ask her to lower her voice and told her she was being inappropriate. I was shocked at her behavior. more

I would strongly discourage anyone to rent from Bettina Equities. I have been a tenant for several years at their 104 E 31st Street building. The management office is a disgrace. They are rude and unaccomodating to their own loyal customers. The worst is this lady called Grace Ronchini (likely misspelled the last name). She is the epidomy of someone who should not come into contact with clients yelling at them on the phone being anything but solution oriented. The fact that she still has a job there shows how poorly run of a company this is. more

Very professional. I rented nelsewwhere miserable experiencce. When I went to Bettina, they let me choose an apartment, meet the super and helped me process the paperwork. No problems at all. I have a much better place and am thankful. I recommend them with no reservations. Pros: Large selection of apartments more

The apartments are great. The live in supers are amazing. The management company is HORRIBLE! There is no internal communication therefore it is extremely difficult to get anything accomplished. Everything is drawn out and their people are very very rude. I have lived there almost three years and as long as there are no problems it's a great spot and a great location. But as soon as there is a problem the management company is horrid. Don't let them fool you with the fact that it is a no fee management company. One cannot put a price on the headache and frustrations they put their tenants through. It is common talk amongst tenants in the elevators amongst neighbors and in the laundry room. I do not recommend living in a Bettina Equities Building. Their customer service is poor. It is very difficult to get things fixed in the buidings and they often do not tell the truth about pest problems that are in their buildings. Their prices may be cheap by New York City standards, but you have to deal with their management company hanging up the phone on you, not returning phone calls, and telling you lies. Not to mention that their supers engage in the same behavior. more
