Professional, on time, friendly movers, definitely recommended. My husband and I hired them to move our 2 bedroom house last weekend to a storage facility, since our new house was not quite ready to move in. They used dollies, blankets and at the end, I didn't see any extra charges on the bill for any of those. Reasonable priced, our move went very well, I'll definitely use them again for the second part of our move.
Pros: Best movers in Boston

Todd English's best restaurant in Boston is by far the original Olives located in Charlestown! It is here that he began his gourmet restaurant empire.
Olives is an excellent place to go if you're looking for a nice dinner for a more-than-casual meal. The ambiance is perfect- low lighting, comfortable seating and excellent service.
The menu is the best in all Charlestown! Featuring dishes with Greek and Italian influfences with the best flavor combinations. Highly recommended are the meat entrees. It's a little pricey, but you would expect it to be and it's well worth the few extra dollars!

We had planned to eat at Tangerino. What a mess that place is. We left after dismayed with our cold food, 2 oz 15 dollar martinis, and overall frighteningly inauthentic interior, and went to Olives. The friendly and fast bartenders, MAtt and Jon, were very accomodating. The beef Carpaccio was the best I've ever had. Olives (and Mistral) are testament to not only great food but also VALUE. Hope to be back soon
Pros: Bartenders Matt and Jon, food, wine
Cons: wish it was open later

Paolo's is definitely a candidate for destination dining. There are lots of reason to check out this welcoming spot -- like us, you might stop because the parking is so much easier than the North End, but the food will have you coming back. It's imaginative Italian, without being pretentious. Don't fill up on the bread, even though they bake their own and it's amazing. Save some room for the appetizers and entrees. I've sampled the chicken dishes, and they are flavorful, but you can't get me to switch from the seafood. I'm conscientiously trying all the dishes they put on the menu. Specials are a treat. (If you are there on a night when paella is on, it's worth a splurge.) They also make their own desserts, including a scrumptious bread pudding concocted from that incredible bread. If you have to wait for a table, it's worth it -- and the bar is cozy and friendly, so waiting is painless. I'd also recommend ordering one of their interesting pizzas to take home for the next day. I'm tempted to keep Paolo's a secret, but they are doing a great job and deserve to be a Metro Boston favorite.
Pros: homemade bread and desserts; serious, interesting menu from entrees to pizza

Sorelle Bakery in Charlestown has the best muffins in all of Boston. This must be true because they sell out early every day.
This bake shop also makes excellent coffee drinks like lattes and cappuccinos. The perfect compliment for their muffins.
Sorelle serves excellent bistro sandwiches at lunch time with Gourmet ingredients on fresh-baked bread. These are a great pick-me-up if you happen to be lucky enough to work nearby. The staff here is also available to cater luncheon events.
My only complaint about Sorelle is the limited hours which it's open (until about 2pm each day). Sometimes I crave a muffin at 5pm and have nowhere to turn. If only they were open in the evenings, my world would be perfect :)

I just moved to Charlestown and have tried every place in town.Though the town does'nt offer many choices, unless you count Dunkin Donuts, I'd have to say Sorelle Cafe is the best. In the morning I stop into the older original Sorelle and get good strong coffee and a tasty scone. The service is fast and friendly. The other cafe in the Navy Yard is bigger and great for grilled sandwiches. Excellent yogurt parfait!
I tried that other place Zume on the Main St. and found it kind of sloopy, with not very good food.

Service at this restaurant is one of the best and quickest I have seen in Boston area. We went as a group and the food came within 15 min. The staff was courteous, was even willing to replace my dish when I was not satisfied with the spice level. We got pad thai, noodle dishes and curry- all excellent and delicious. The portion sizes are also big and sufficient. In the end, the owner/ manager personally came to see if we needed anything and to greet us. I have been to numerous restaurants in Boston area but have not seen this type of service before. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good Thai food and great service.
Pros: Excellent service, great food
Cons: None that was noticeable. Ambience could be more attractive though.

GREAT food, GREAT service, and the best part... GREAT prices. I live in the South End and have tried many, many restaurants and I am ecstatic to have found this one!! I have been here 3 times in one week and I can't get enough of it. Why go to a restaurant and pay 3 times more for the same quality meal, if not, better?! My favs: Foie gras, for a mere $12, it is absolutely delicious and better than the one I've had at Excelsior; Tuna tartar, salmon and the special steak. The chef, owner and staff always make me feel at home--They even remembered my name when I came back a 2nd time!!
Best deal: Every Tuesday night- 4 course meal with wine pairing for $40. Oh, and if that isn't good enough, the price includes taxes AND gratuity!!
Pros: Fantastic food, great ambiance, exceptional service

go to Warren Tavern if you want to sample the best chowda in the world - no joke! The tavern is well known in the area, we happened to run into a local woman who recommended the tavern to us. Just down the street from the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown (just outside North Boston).
Enjoy!
