Overpriced. Pushy. they will tell you anything you want to hear. Return policy is limited store credit if you are lucky and fight for it. I would avoid them at all costs!

All things Judaica in NYC! 10/6/2005

This is the number one place I come to get all my Judaica needs. It's expensive, but it's hard to find anything else less expensive in this city. From holy books to secular books, to Judaic religious items, to music, to toys to mezuzot to jewelery, they've got it all. The people in the store are very helpful and can always make sure that you get exactly what you need. more

What else could you need 8/20/2005

This store has just about any thing you could need for a good Jewish home. Their library is extensive and they have a wonderful selection of kiddush cups. While the staff is orthodox, they seem very at home dealing with those of us from other denominations. A big plus is that if your synagogue has registered with them in advance, they will donated 10% of your purchase to the shul. Just remember to check and see if your shul is listed. more

The place to look firts for any Jewish-related item. Although initially gruff, with a little patience, the staff here will prove to be both knowledgable and very helpful. All of the regular religious and holiday items are here, as well as a decent music and dvd selection. But it's books, thousands of them falling off the walls, that are most impressive here. more
