Dr. Tabari is one of the best podiatrists in the New York City area. I had a bunionectomy with him last fall. Thankfully, my recovery was truly spectacular. I had very little post operative pain, and incredibly, I did not even take aspirin following a complex bunion removal. Additionally, as Dr. Tabari predicted, I was back to work and walking within 7days of the surgery. Having had the same problem operated on my other foot about 8 years ago, I can testify this was a far faster, less painful recovery. Dr. Tabari personally called the following day to follow up on how I was feeling. He really provides great, no-nonsense patient care and is the best Podiatrist I have ever been blessed with. In my opinion, he has a stern foundation that makes him superb. If you are in the processes of scouting for a great podiatrist, you can not do any better than him. God Bless you Dr. Tabari. Also worth mentioning is his super professional staff - they are very responsive and go the extra mile to ensure great care!

I love Skintology! Two thumbs up! I live in Maryland and come at least once every six months to this amazing place to unite body and soul and pamper myself ? I do laser skin treatment, massage, hair cut, facial, manicure and pedicure during my visit- after my friend?s referral two years ago. I would love to try the eyelash extension. The artistic design creates a unique atmosphere of tranquility in the spa. Along with the professionalism of the staff all this works as narcotics. You just want to come again and again. The result of their work is truly amazing. My skin returned its translucency, freckles are almost gone. A magnificent place. I wish we had our own Skintology spa in Maryland.
I was very surprised to read such a negative review on Skintology and its great staff and therefore have some comments to share. Beauty is something that nature gives you or forgets to give you creating some imperfections and anxieties. Fortunately, people found their ways how to trick the nature. BUT. All these procedures are very invasive and risky. Even for top celebrities. Have you ever seen woman?s face destined to-be-beautiful immediately or a few days after the plastic surgery? It takes weeks and months to heal before Cinderella turns into Princess. Do they all threaten and sue their doctors for not seeing miracle the next day they wake up in horrible pain with swollen unrecognizable faces for many days?
They do cry and regret? And, obviously, they take an annual leave for a week or two? It is hard to understand why would people undergo laser treatment right before their wedding? You burn your skin to shed off in order to reveal a new rejuvenated baby skin underneath. There is no miracle here. The skin will be red, brown and burned for a while before you become beautiful and social again. This is a price for The Beauty. Of course, some people from the law firm may decide to take advantage to outsmart The Nature and caregivers simultaneously and get $500 back. It is a matter of taste, as always

My cat always seems to behave properly under their gentle approach. Once when she was bandaged they decorated her bandage with cute little hearts

I work in the area and just got a pair of glasses here. Very convenient to get done on the way to my train home. Very trendy - I got a much better looking pair than my normal style. I can't believe how many people have complimented me on my new glasses. I am totally satisfied and give this place 2 thumbs up.

Hello reviewers! My name is Nina Ramos. I had my surgery done a month ago from this Lasik Center. I was treated by Dr. Niksarli. I also met with the other doctors who were equally as good. Dr. Niksarli was a great doctor to me atleast....he served me well and helped me during my Panic Attacks. lol
I went in for a consultation thinking im never going to get my surgery...as i was too scared to even think about it...but i was always curious to know more about it. Well i would say i was more curious to know IF I WAS A CANDIDATE for the surgery or no! it came out to be that i was and i was relieved....because i always thought you cannot get the surgery done if you have a very high prescription...Apparently i was wrong!
After my consultation i still had not made my mind up for the surgery. I was still not sure as i was just too nervous to go thru with it. But then i received a call from that center a couple of weeks ago asking me if i was still interested. I gues that payed them well..because right then i came to a conclusion that i WILL do the surgery no matter what!
I called them back and set up my appointment for the surgery. AND NOW! here i am using the computer with no problems.....reading as many books as i want....swiming under water.....playing sports....without having to worry about my contacts and glasses.
I would say this is absolutely the best thing i have ever done for myself. i am enjoying it throughly and i thank the Manhattan Lasik Center for it!

I went to Gotham Lasik last week and had surgery. Im so happy with my results. I now have 20/15!!! I still can't believe I can see. I have been to different centers in the last month trying to make a choice. There were so many to choose from. When I went to Gotham Lasik I knew in the first 20 minutes of being there, I would book. The office was the nicest and cleanest place i have been to. I got to meet Dr. Bonnani the day of my consult. It was very important to me speak to the doctor before I book my surgery. It was nice to be treated like a patient and not a customer. Thanks Doc!

I recently went to see Dr. Rozenberg for my regular checkup. My prescription hadn't changed that much but I was having problems reading the fine print in some medical texts, reference books and drug labels. He changed my lenses to a new digital progressive type and it made a world of difference when reading fine print. The difference was dramatic and definately worth the price difference.

I went to Portofino to get an airbrush, as they call it, for my wedding. I was a little neurotic about the results. I could NOT be orange or fake looking for my wedding. I came in about a month before the big day just to try it out. I loved it and my pale skin looked gorgeous and tan (and without any real SUN!) I had Stella spray me both times and she was great. She was sweet, professional and very thorough. I am definitely thinking about extending this treat to more than just my wedding day. Thank you Stella and Portofino for helping me feel beautiful for one of the most important events of my life! :o)

I have always avoided the sun, but I hate being pale especially during the summer months. I have been stpoping in to Portofino every now and then to get a fake spray tan. I bought a series of 10 "airbrushes" and whenever I need a quick pick me up, i call for an appointment and fake tan it up. The only thing is it only lasts a week. if only they could make one that lasted a MONTH!
