Need New Bath and Body Products? Well, Look No Further.. 1/12/2006

If you're the kind of person who's always in the market for bath and body products, the Bathroom is a place you'd be foolish not to check out. The store is lovely and the products are reasonably priced for the most part. Best of all, you can ask for samples of products before buying and the portion you're given to test is usually reasonably sized. When you're thinking about buying a new product for the first time there's no better feature to a store than that! more

Great bath products 8/20/2005

I really like the soaps and lotions at the Bathroom. Some of the products I find here I cannot find anywhere else. The products are high quality and make great gifts. They also carry towels, scented candles, and baby products. A friend of mine loves the Mustela Baby Line of products. The prices range from reasonable to somewhat expensive. The staff are friendly and helpful. more

Cute store with great products 8/6/2005

The Bathroom is a cute little store located on a tree-lined street in Greenwich Village (with a few famous celebrity neighbors). The store is filled with great-smelling, luxe products from around the world. I love walking in and just taking in the lovely aromas. The shop has a very intimate yet airy feel to it. Although there are many lovely, unique items, they do carry some well-known brands too. Obviously, this is a store for those who like to support boutiques like this one and not cater to the retail chains. I'd say the only downside is are the prices - they tend to be a bit on the pricey side and there aren't many discounts avaialble. All in all, a lovely store. more

My favorite West Village shop 8/6/2005

I've shopped all over New York and the world for that matter, and I'm constantly on the lookout for hidden gems like The Bathroom. The shop carries a wonderfully edited selection of terrific bath products -- soaps, shampoos, candles, towels, etc, that you don't seem to see on every other block. Icing on the cake is the British owner, Colin, who is very funny and charming, not to mention very knowledgable and helpful in chatting about his products. If you're sick of the big chains and want to go back to the times when shopping was a pleasurable experience, I recommend The Bathroom in Greenwich Village just off of Bleecker Stree more
