The only reason I am giving 1 star is because there is no option to give NO STARS.
IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET, DO NOT BRING THEM TO THE GROOMER HERE WHATSOEVER.
I trusted my dog to be taken care of when left for a grooming. They told me to call around 3 hours later to see if she was ready. I call & they tell me "Oh ummm... so she's pretty much ready but... um... while i was cutting her hair, she was a little active & got her paw pad cut" . There was no "Oh i'm sorry but I cut your dog's paw pad because..." NO APOLOGY WHATSOEVER. I don't care if my dog was a little bit active, you're supposed specialists & you were supposed to have plenty of experience. She continued to make it sound like it was my dog's fault and she had nothing to do with it. Excuse me, YOU were the one holding the scissors. I'm not saying my dog is at NO fault but PLEASE TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS ALSO.
They did not call me when the accident happened. Wouldn't the responsible thing be to call the owner so that they are aware of what happened and can take action, whether it is to run over to the hospital or not?
I go into the store and there is no "hello" or anything else... as soon as the groomer sees me, she says "OH she was moving around too much and had a little accident."
In my opinion, the professional thing would be to say, "Oh, I'm sorry but an accident happened while I was cutting her hair. She was a little active and i snipped by accident". There was ABSOLUTELY NO sense of responsibility.
Then I asked for what happened in writing so that once I take her to the hospital, not only will the bills be taken care of but also IF... GOD PLEASE FORBID... something were to happen to my dog, PETCO, the hospital, and I would all be aware that it would be PETCO's fault. They refused to provide any kind of paperwork.
When I told them that I refused to go anywhere without proof that they acknowledge that they harmed my dog, they told me they would write up an incident report. They also said that the incident report is electronically
