The moment you step in you giggle with the funny sign on the door and the assortment of things that will stir your memories. I was so psyched to see Hello Kitty, Pez dispensers, Carebears, Pound Puppies, jelly bangle bracelets, those weird charm necklaces we used to wear and the biggest assortment of barbie accessories I've ever seen! Their location is great too because it's a short walk to Pommes Frites where you can get sinfully yummy fresh cut belgium french fries with all kinds of dipping sauces and you're literally around the corner from the east village hot spots. I love this place! I hope they're around to make my son feel like an old fart someday!

Whether it's your thing year round or just for the big day this place is a surefire hit! It took me a few minutes to get over the bats and strange things that seemed ready to crawl on me. Thankfully it was all dead! They also have really pretty handcrafted and odd jewelry, The staff leaves much to be desired as they all seem bored and full of contempt but I am sure it is a tourist hot spot and they probably are sick of all the oohs, ahhs, ewws and ogling. The prices are reasonable though and some of the items are great conversations pieces! My husband and I will be going again when we resume decorating. We like freaky gothic stuff!

He is so hard to shop for but whenever I make the trip here it's a success. They have your average fountain pens to your higher end fountain pens to antiques and collectibles. Their prices are reasonable, but not cheap. They also repair old or broken pens and that's a great service because it's not something that is common anymore! I love this shop and intend on going again for Christmas since my dad is a penaholic!

It isn't cheap but they DO have sales on occasion and you can get yourself a gorgeus designer bag or scarf for a fraction of it's original cost and I don't mean last years leftovers, I mean this seasons overstock! I love to browse and see what I can find, whether it is on sale or not. Any woman knows that when it comes to a bag you get what you pay for an the money is well invested. Needless to say it isn't a place I can afford to shop at often, but I do try to stop in just to look around whenever I am in the area.

I was so grateful to find this place open late when my son had a teething fever and I'd run out of infant tylenol. I was nowhere near a 24 hour pharmacy so I was so happy to find them open and in stock. While I was there I got a great deal on shampoo and toiletries and thus I became a loyal customer. The pharmacists are actually helpful too! I find that most chain stores are too busy or not interested in explaining a medication, side effects, etc to the customers. I felt really good shopping there and was able to make informed decisions about my prescription needs too!

It's a great store but don't go there if you have a little girl! You will get sucked in by the adorable outfits and you will empty your savings account to buy it all! Diesel, Juicy Couture, Baby Phat (for babies) and then some! Their boys stuff is nice too but a lot easier to resist. I think it's a great place for an expensive but gorgeous shower gift but definitely cannot afford to shop there for everything. It is way too expensive and sales just don't happen.

Parking is a nightmare, save yourself the trouble and get a ride or take a bus. Once you're inside though you'll be pleasantly surprised by the knowledgeable staff, the nice selection and the reasonable prices. I was able to get gifts for my nephews, my husband, and even some cutesy stuff for myself (I was a kid once too!) - I liked that they had all sorts of collectibles on hand as well as some more obscure and hard to find comics and manga books.

I was impressed with the selection and loved the sales girls outfits! There really wasn't anything that I could not find there but everything was pretty expensive. It makes Frederick's look like a place Martha Stewart might shop at - most of the stuff is lacey and racey - but it's still a far cry from something a prostitute would wear (well, maybe...)
My husband loves it and is willing to blow quite a wad in there (no pun intended) in excitement and anticipation over getting to see the goodies and enjoy them once they're home. However, don't buy the whips - you can get better quality elsewhere - the ones here are more like expensive props!

If there was private parking and/or it wasn't located in a madhouse and street parking was adequate I would buy everything here. Unfortunately that isn't a case and it's a pity. Their prices are reasonable and they offer a wide selection of any and all home improvement and even commercial construction needs - I just can't see myself trying to lug plywood or drywall on the subway because I don't want a $115 parking (or double parking) ticket!

Review title must sound funny but my husband loves this shop! He has been able to find obscure adult titles as well as independent films that you just can't get at a video chain. It always makes me laugh as he shouts from the aisle LOUDLY that they have such and such and it even has so and so in it! Thankfully they have all kinds of movies to browse so I can keep our son occupied and he doesn't need to know what his daddy is looking at. I'm glad we have a DVD/VCR combo though because most of their pertinent selection is on VHS.
