gret fun store 6/2/2010

I love this store. Yes, it has the name sake of patricia Fiels, who was the stylist for Sex and the City. But it truly is a unique store which has one of a kind stuff and has a great vibe too it. If you are looking for fun accessories, this is the place to go and they even have a great lingerie section in the back. The only downfall is sometimes the clothes don't wash and wear well and are definitely not office appropriate. Pros: cool staff, great location, funky diff stuff Cons: can be a little overpriced or too clubby more

Wow this is the place to be for funky NY style. Keep in mind, most things are over $100, but some stuff are like $40. Staff really nice and fierce looking. I heard some are rude, but never experienced that. Really Good Stuff. And you know how most things on sale are sort of wierd looking, in patricia field, they still look good. more

big deal! 8/8/2007

Prior to the whole"" ... And the City ""craze, back in the early 90s when you could go to 8th street at the old house of field, you could find really cool, fairly priced, unisex clothes. They had helpful queens do peoples eyebrows, and allowed people to try on wigs for$5. The staff now is very snotty and unhelpful. Tourists must be unimpressed. However, everything changes right? and usually for the worst. Anyone remember Allan And Suzies on sheepshead bay road Brooklyn. Much more ecclectic and fierce!!! Pros: IT is a NYC experience for unknowing tourists Cons: Rude egotistical staff more

A NYC Must See 6/30/2002

This store is really crazy...at least for tourists. Some merchandise will shock, and even offend you, while other stuff you can't help saying ""Wow!"". Lots of Japanese street label brands. Although a lot of the clothing can be very expensive (+$100 just for a T-shirt), I've gotten some of the best bargains on the clearance rack nearly everytime I go to HV. Come here if you want the Japanese label Hysteric Glamour, which is very hard to get in the USA. A few months ago, all HG merchandise was on sale for 50% off (that means only $175 for those HG jeans you've always wanted). :D The staff may be scary and very rude sometimes, but also wild and fun (and very nice). Pros: VERY unique, Great clearance items, Futuristic Japan Cons: Some staff are nasty, Can be crowded, Expensive..but wanted more
