Go to Tupelo about 3 times a week as we live across the street. it's either the food, the staff, or the cocktails that keep us coming back. Even when something's going on at the garden, we enjoy ourselves. Last week, had the filet & creamed spinach, and mac and brie with a bottle of BV. the steak was perfect, the sides were inventive and the wine underpriced. Sure it was loud and crowded, the Rangers were playing!!! Rather than annoy us, like other ""tin roof"" sounding fine dining restaurants around, we got into the vibe around us. Other nights, the scene is more chill. Either way, food is consistent and the staff very welcoming. If you haven't been and go to the garden for anything at all, you're missing out.
Pros: Lively surroundings and terrific food in an abyss of either
Cons: Can be tough to find from the street
