Deli Kasbah is unlike any other deli you've seen -- of course it has the standard NYC deli accoutrements, i.e. salami hanging from from ceiling, cholesterol-laden chopped liver, and the old-time regulars, but it also has (I quote) rebbevision! Deli Kasbah is a kosher deli that prominently broadcasts taped lectures from the late Lubavitcher rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Schneerson. (Apparently they now have flat screens on all sides of the interior, so you and your dining companions won't miss a bit of the Rebbe's exhortions.)
But getting to the most important thing, the food, it is pretty good. It has the standard deli fare along with middle Eastern standards (Falafel, pita, hummus, Moroccan Cigars, i.e. filo dough stuffed with spiced meat), all moderately priced. I personally recommend the chicken soup, as it's quite good. The ambiance isn't the greatest, as it can be noisy even without the Rebbe's lectures, but it's a decent place to go with family and friends. Not exactly the best place for a date, but the rebbevision makes for a great conversation piece.
