The best 10/16/2005

For department store shopping, Saks is the best, in my opinion, even better than Barney's. The departments aren't overloaded with merchandise like at Bloomingdale's, so shopping here is actually quite soothing and relaxing. I would skip the cafe upstairs, though, unless you like paying $12 for a bowl of not very good soup. more

A Real Department Store with Service 8/3/2005

If you are looking for a department store where you can spend the day and move from clothes for you, to jewelry and makeup, and then to home accessories, and then visit mens, bridal, and children's wear - you have come to the right place. Service is easy to find and really helpful. If you get friendly with someone in the label area you like, let them know what you are looking for and they will call you when it comes in, and even better, when it goes on sale. more
