Awful Experience 3/3/2010

This place is a joke, not only because they lost several articles of clothing (i took laundry there twice and both times they lost things), but because they neglected to provide any sort of reasonable customer service when I asked them about the missing clothes. And I gave them every opportunity to rectify the situation on the phone and in person. The manager kept saying there was nothing he could do, he's not responsible, and he would have to ask the "big boss" - which is really just an incompetent, convenient excuse when dealing with a customer. To summarize: BAD service, LOST clothes, really FRUSTRATING customer experience, and manager who isn't allowed to make a decision for himself. pretty sad, but fortunately there are 4 other places within a few block radius. Cons: Lost clothing, incompetent service more

Terrible Service; Lost Articles 3/2/2010

I used Symphony for both my dry cleaning and laundry for over 2 years. In the past month, I noticed that at least $60 worth of items were missing when my laundry was returned. I approached the manager and he told me there was nothing he could do about this and that lost items were "not the company's responsibility." I pointed out to him that the sign in his shop clearly denoted "satisfaction guaranteed," but he refused to refund me for any of my losses. Furthermore, an apology was never offered, and all I received was a defensive remark about how all dry cleaners in Manhattan lose things and it's really not anyone's responsibility. Interesting, because it's certainly not my responsibility. Highly recommend staying away from this spot unless you want to pay for both your laundry and your losses. more

Good Laundry Service! 1/6/2010

I sent my Christmas linens out to be cleaned for storage until next year, and they came back not only gently cleaned and neatly folded, but SMELLED GREAT! They really got my clothes clean. My only complaint is they delivered my laundry an hour after they initially said they would, but this is the first laundry service that did my laundry without ripping it to shreds, or sending it back smelling just like it left! Good work! Pros: Really Clean Clothes! Cons: Small delay in delivery more

Terrible 12/5/2009

They lost $700.00 worth of my drycleaning and promised to cut a check. They have not done so yet and never return my calls. Cons: Lose drycleaning more

WORST customer service I've ever gotten in my life 2/20/2009

I did my maternity pants hammed here (28st. park & lexington) but after washing it I realized they glued it, not really sewed it, which costs me $15. So I brought it back and asked them and the manager there kept saying "trust me, we don't this kind of jobs and pay again if you want to do the job again" so I asked him to show me other hammed pants to compare but tailors are on vacation for 2 weeks. He has the record for my hammed pants but told me I have to pay again to do the job again. OMG.. this is unbelievably insane and what a bad attitude to a customer! Pros: fake jobs Cons: worst attitude to a customer more

Worst in NYC 1/31/2009

Please save your time and get your dry cleaning done by 1 of the other 1000 dry cleaners in NYC! This place is run like a farm, because they treat you like animals, with no repect to you and your clothes! They take no responsibility, from holes in pants, broken buttons and missing cufflinks . I keep telling myself that they are sufficient for my dry cleaning needs, but after the 4th mishap and disrespect, I told them I'll be taking my business elsewhere. They could really care less. Go to one of your local cleaners where they treat you and your clothes like family...they way it should be!! Pros: They are located everywhere Cons: They don't know what customer service is! more

I NEVER THOUGH THAE THEY WOULD FIND SOME ONE WITH MUCH EXPRIENCE THE MANAGER ON 750 6TH AVE IS VERY PLEASANT AND SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE DOING SHE SEEM LIKE SHE HAVE A LOT OF EXPRIENCE SHE ALWAY HELP ME FIGUIRE OUT WHAT TO DO WITH MY CLOTHERS SHE IS VERY GOOD HER NAME IS SANDY BEST SERVICE I,VE EVER HAD IN A LONG TIME SHE KNOWS HER JOB more

The worst service I've ever gotten 4/30/2004

These people are expensive and rude and the say 'free delivery' but it comes 3 hours later. Do not give these people your clothes or your money. I still have stains on my clothes that were not on them before I took them to Symphony cleaners. I strongly recommend that you go to other places. Cons: , expenssive, tardy delivery more
