Citi Habitats

We had a very wonderful experience with city habitat Agent "" Will Lasky"". Thank you Will for all your help in finding the Apartment in Midtown and in the heart of the city- Times square. Will was very calm and considerate through the search period. The best part of Will is that he narrowed down the search to our expectations. He personally checked, if the apartments had what we were looking for. Since, first time we moved to the City, we were not very well versed with the location, but Will showed the exact apartments in the locality of our liking. PROPERTY DAMAGE and IRRESPONSIBLE. These are the words I associate with Citi Habitats. Especially the agent **MIKE MISHKIN**. He showed our apartment while we were gone and was told that we have cats and would be gone for a few days. He then locked our cat in the bedroom without access to food, water or a litterbox. The cat went to the bathroom on our bed ruining our comforter and bed. Both him and the citi habitats refused to accept responsibility and pay for the damages they caused. To allow a company or person open access to your home, you need a minimum degree of trust. Your only guarantee with Citi Habitats is that they will refuse to held accountable for any damages that they cause. more

I haven't dealt with David for much particularly, but the folks in his 57th st office are great, especially Jim Strain. He took the time to explain to me as a walk-in who'd never lived in New York how the system works, and gave freely of his valuable advice even when it did not benefit him directly (and he was OK discussing fee discounts). I actually found a place myself thanks to his knowledge, and am happy to refer other business his way by way of compensation. Pros: Friendly, Knowledgeable Cons: Crowded schedule more
