These guys are great! I would use them again in any emergency situation. We had important tax papers locked in a credenza but had lost the key some months ago, meanwhile CPA's were meeting with the boss and we needed those files NOW. I contacted Nick at 10:15 and he was here and the tax consultants had their tax papers in their hands before the end of the meeting at 11:15! Nick definitely saved the day. Spoke with someone from Sentinal on the phone--very friendly and had the best price of the places I called. He sent the Locksmith to make a new key for my motorcycle. (Who knew, but only maybe half of the places I called even did re-keying for motorcycles.) He was running a bit late, but called first to let me know and was only maybe 15 minutes late. Sentinal Lockout Services & Security Systems It came out to my apt a few weeks ago to re-key my locks. They were very accommodating to my schedule and were even able to change my service time at the last minute when something came up at work. Unfortunately they were not able to re-key the locks the Friday they were scheduled because we needed a new lock, however they were able to fit me in next thing Saturday morning and they even ran out to buy the lock we would need. Overall we were very happy with their locksmith service! more

Gil came to our house and he patiently waited for us to finished dealing with other service people before listening to what we wanted and handling everything really well. I usually don't write reviews, but in this case - I think I'm ought to. I own a Ford Expedition and when I lost the keys for it, I did what I thought the obvious thing - I called the dealer I bought my car from. When I asked for a price, I was shocked to the bone, they wanted $540 !!! And that doesn't include me towing the car to the dealership - easily $125. So I looked online for a locksmith in New York that can make car keys without me towing the car. After a bunch of phone calls I found Sentinal Lockout Services and they told me on the spot exactly how much it will cost, even better - after 2 hours I had a new key in my hands!!! It cost me almost HALF of the dealer's price - HALF! And don't forget the time, I had a key in 2 hours, when the dealer told me it would have to wait to Monday, since it was Saturday at 6:00pm and the service department was already closed! As I was saying, I don't usually write these reviews, but after all of that frustration of me losing my keys, the dealer wanting crazy money and the fact that I need to wait until Monday to get into MY car, there was a company that solved all my problems in 2 hours!!! Two weeks ago, a friend of mine had a break-in in his home. When the cops came, they didn't see any forced entry, or prying marks, so they told my friend that the burglar had probably used a bump key. What is a bump key? It is a simple key, that is specifically cut to manipulate the embedded flaw that exists in all mechanical locks. If you'll look on YouTube you'll see what I mean. So naturally, I didn't want the same thing happening to me. So I called the same locksmith that went to my friend's house.
