Hahahahahaha. ""Prepare to Be Ignored"" by Ryjo. Hahahah 7/7/2009

If you're looking for 5 star dining, then why would you bother going into the Pizza Pub? They serve cheap pizza, cheap booze, and aren't known for their service. If you want nice italian food, go up the street to 'inoteca and get served hand and foot. The Pizza Pub is meant for the budget conscious, boozer, who likes a few slices of tasty pizza. Stop whining and move out of the neighborhood if you're looking to be pampered.! Pros: Loser review more

Prepare to be ignored! 6/28/2009

I went here with a friend this past Friday in search of some cheap pizza and beer. We entered the place and were immediately unsure whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. Since we had made eye contact with the only server in the place, we assumed she'd be right with us, or at least tell us we could sit wherever. Instead, she walked right by us to ask one of her tables if they needed anything. Not a big deal. Then she went back to the kitchen to get a pizza for a table. Again, no biggie. Then she walked by us again, looked at us, rearranged some menus on the bar, and walked away. At this point, I spoke up, but she must not have heard me. Still, we were shocked when she went back behind the bar and just stood there, starring at the wall. We were pretty offended to say the least, and decided to leave the place. We're new to the neighborhood, and I can assure you we won't be giving this place another try. As my friend said, ""If you're going to have a chintzy sign on the wall about poor service, you probably shouldn't actually have poor service."" Forget Pizza Pub--they obviously don't care about their customers. Cons: Not getting service more

Cool spot, check it out 4/7/2009

This place is perfect. Cheap drinks and cheap slices. We're all trying to save a buck, but still have fun. The Pizza Pub is the spot. I had 2 slices and about 3 Jameson and Ginger Ales, and paid like $15, i don't remember really :) Perfect location too! Pros: Cheap! Perfect Location! more

Awesome Pizza, Cheap Beer, Full Bar...I'm In! 4/1/2009

For anyone who wants really awesome pizza and a full bar definitely check out Pizza Pub. For $4.50 you can get a regular slice of cheese and pint of their house draft. There are other great recession specials for all of us who still want to eat, drink, play and pay the bills stress free. Like for every shot you get a free slice or a pie and a pitcher for $22.00, or for lunch you can get two slices and a can of soda for $4.50. There is also have a full menu of other bar favorites like burgers, fries, wings and salads. The environment is really clean and inviting. If you want a slice to go, walk straight to back, or if you want to hang out for a while take a seat at the bar or at the many table tops and booths. Flat screens line the walls, so its a good place to watch games and grab a drink. Plus, the staff is really chill and the music is always good. Overall, its a great neighborhood spot. My friends and I have quickly become loyal fans. We come in during the week for a quick bite and a drink after work, and on the weekends it a cheap and easy spot to pre game and then go to neighborhood bars, stay the night or stumble in later (they are open until 4 am Thursday-Saturday!) for our post-bar pizza fix. Pros: $4.50 for a Slice and a Pint. Cons: What are the drawbacks? more

Yes! Finally, a cheap place in Murray Hill to get hammered. 3/26/2009

This place is legitimate. I got a slice, a shot, and a cold Guinness for like $5 I think...and by I think, I got so hammied that I left in a daze. The music is pumping, the staff is chill. It's in a great location. Stop in, this place rules. Recommended for those on a budget. $20 here will get you nice and toasty for a night out at other local bars. Pros: Great beer specials Cons: There aren't more of them more
