Differentiation as a business-level strategy had worked well in a growing industry, but with increased competition as well as changes in the general environment, Rick’s should tailor its differentiation strategy to focus on more specific market segments. Pros: Focus differentiation Cons: Increased competition, changes in general environment more

amazing lunch special 10/26/2009

what a concept!!! great three-course lunch for ten bucks while you're watching beautiful nearly nekked girls. very friendly staff. oh, and did i mention the girls are beautiful? Pros: gourmet lunch just $10 more

I was very impressed 9/20/2009

I have been to all the clubs in NYC, and being a businessman, Ilove the quaint feeling, and laid-back attitude of this place. I just went the other night with some stock-broker pals.. We have been to scores and Penthouse, where I found the girls jaded and trashy, and way more willing to pull tricks. I don'tlike that. I want a class-act and a fantasy..I lady that can makeme dream about her, while I am att my desk. Give it 5 stars..and will be back! Pros: very gorgeous and intelligent gals Cons: stage dancers didn't seemto be as into it more

$10 lunch...enough said 6/11/2009

It's hard to give a bad review to a strip club (in NYC nonetheless!) where you can get lunch for $10. I'm not talking about a cold sandwich and some potato chips. We're talking about meals that would normally cost you about $40. This includes an appetizer of soup or salad, the entree (which includes steak!), and a dessert. I'm not sure of the lunch schedule, but I think it's from 12-4 on the weekdays. The only downside is that the waitresses take a long, long time to bring you your food. Therefore, if you're going on your lunch break, you may want to skip dessert and just ask for the check, b/c otherwise you may be there for over an hour. I like eating at the club, b/c the dancers leave you alone and don't try to hustle you for lap dances. Unfortunately, when the waitresses take 30 mins. to bring your food over, that gives the girls a window of time to make their "sales pitches." Like a typical Manhattan strip club, the dancers don't seem to be having much fun on stage and make minimal eye contact w/ the crowd. And of course, unless you're a big shot in a 3-pc. suit, they probably won't do anything more than ask you to buy a lap dance and walk off. The dancers are quite hot, though, with very few ugly or average ones. Pros: $10 lunch, hot dancers, upscale club, good music Cons: Typically snobby NYC dancers, slow service more

Great Time 5/12/2009

Rick's Cabaret, is a great enivorment for adult entertainment. The estblishment is managed, the location is great for NYC, Rick has a great food menu, lunch and dinner are fantastic. You can watch sporting events around the clock, and of course they have the best selection of women in NYC. So if you are looking for a fun a place with great management, great location, great food, and of course beautiful women! Rick's should be your number 1 spot. Pros: beautiful Women Cons: none more

By Far the Best in NYC 4/8/2009

I took a client to the $10 lunch at Rick's and was amazed. Three-course, gourmet style, all for ten bucks plus a drink, and you get to watch beautiful girls dancing in g-strings while you're eating. The girls are friendly and not overly aggressive. Went to a private room for half an hour and the price was far; no haggling or insisting on extra tipping. The hosts are warm and hospitable. I've been to lots of clubs and this is by far the best in NYC. Pros: Girls amazing, hospitality warm, food terrific more

weary of the check card hold........ 8/2/2008

Went there last night to have a few drinks and check out the scene with my husband after a great day in NYC and had passes to get in with no cover charge... The 2 of us had 2 drinks each and a cup of coffee and I paid a reasonable bill for $55 tiping our waitress $11. I woke up this morning to see my bank is holding 2 charges for being there last night - 1 for $19.20 and the other for $160.80!!!! I'm trying to clear it up, and maybe the hold is different from what will be the total charge, but until I see it set to $66.00 I'll be unsettled about the night there. The place was nice and I'd go back as long as my card wasn't misused!!! I'll post what happens. more

Yuck! 2/22/2008

Two couples went out for a night on the town, came across Rick's and since we had heard great things about it, decided to go in. What a waste of money! If I want to look at overly curvacious chicks, I look in the mirror, lol. Ugly girls, price was average for strip clubs for below average chicks. Slow waitress and no one looked happy. Too much light for a strip joint, we felt to involved in the lapdance next to us. Dancers were not good either. Overall, will not go back ever! Pros: None Cons: Ugly, pricey and dull! more

a good club 1/9/2008

Rick's has Happy Hour until 8 pm (Monday through Friday, I think) where all drinks are $8. We had a slight problem getting the attention of the waitress, so when we did, we ordered all our drinks for the night. Birthday Girl had 3 jack and cokes in front of her and looked happy as can be. The main stage at Rick's is raised, which I don't really like but I guess it keeps people from being too grabby with the girl dancing. They also have a smaller stage with a pole. The girl on the smaller stage always looks a little bored, dancing on her small square. See my entire review: nycstripclubs.blogspot. com/2008/01/ricks.html more

Nice place in downtown NY 8/4/2007

This club is pretty good. Price of drinks and food are very reasonable. Some girls are very friendly. Girls are not as beautiful like scores, penthouse executive clubs or LFHC but they are pretty. You can enjoy drinks and enjoy dances on the main stage. You can enjoy lap dances in the main hall also. Some time they provide free delicious breakfast around 2 AM. Bouncer is slightly more conservative. I wish bouncers may avoid interference with the customer while customers are enjoying dances. Pros: Price of drinks and food Cons: none more

  • In Short
This tri-level strip club, part of a national chain, boasts two stages on the first floor, one stage in the second-floor steakhouse, and VIP rooms above--and plenty of women to fill them. The clientele works its way from a blue collar mix during the day to businessmen by night, as well as bachelor parties and--perhaps most festive of all--divorce parties. Seven plasma TVs, complete with a stock ticker, supplement the live entertainment.
