Chic, yet comfortable, this boutique offers stylish classics to fit every season and mood. They offer affordable elegant and casual wear and have great sales too! I always come out learning a little about the upcoming designers they feature and find it awesome that they're from around the world. The LES is filled with boutiques, but Lola y Maria has merchandise you can't find anywhere else, (great shoes!) I highly recommend making those extra steps east. i've lived in the les/east village for the past four years, and this is one of my all time favorite shops to stop at. since becoming overtly gentrified, the les has procured more and more expensive taste and it's rather rare these days to find something different, affordable, and really freaking cute. this shop has all three. i'm literally in here once a week. i really recommend it to anyone who's tourista-ing it up in the les. albeit the location is a little off the map, it makes it more worth it to find this hidden gem. plus, the people who work there were so laid-back and chill. they never make me feel pressured to buy anything. Pros: always have new stuff in, really affordable for les, only carry few sizes so not everyone has same pieces Cons: i can get stuck shopping for hours!!!! more
