Le Monde is located on Broadway in the "restaurant row" near Columbia U. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We've eaten there several times and have always had a pleasant experience.
The menu is extensive and there are plenty of choices. We always have the escargot appetizer and it's fantastic. The prices aren't bad. For 2 of us to eat it's usually between 30 and 40 dollars.
Parents: you can bring your stroller to a table at the back of the restaurant that has plenty of space and you don't have to worry about disturbing other patrons.
The waitstaff is okay. Very attentive, sometimes friendly, sometimes not so much. All in all, one of the better restaurants in this part of the city.
