ONLY dealership in NY that showed any respect 4/24/2012

I was looking for a car in 2008 and went to every dealership you could imagine. I was pre approved and I brought my husband to make sure I wasnt getting ripped off. Let me say this, after being ignored by every other dealer (aka: I asked a question, they answered my husband) I on a whim requested info on a used FX35 online and got a call back in under 2 hours. They were so friendly and welcoming we went down to the showroom an hour later. We ended up spending 4 hours shooting the breeze with the guys and drove out of there proud Infiniti owners. Service over the years has been painless and I have always been welcomed warmly and by name, the coffee in the lounge is great and the courtesy car wash is a treat. 4 years later and our family has outgrown my FX. I shopped around again thinking a less expensive 7 passenger was what I was looking at. But ended back at Infiniti of Manhattan. I was tired of getting ripped off for a trade in and i never received the warmth or respect I did at Infiniti. Again, we spent a whole day shooting the breeze looking at vehicles and options. And agian we drove away happy Infiniti JX owners. They are the BEST dealership in NY handsdown. I cried when they took my FX for trade in and was quickly comforted, I even got a call to make sure we were happy and got home alright. I have never been happier with a dealership. We are customers for life and will never go elsehwere(or until we win the lotto and my hubby gets his Ferrari) Thanks again Guys!!! more

I had a good expierence at a car dealer! 7/7/2011

I was really surprised to see all the bad reviews about Infiniti of Manhattan. I bought my previous G35 from another dealer also had my car serviced at Manhattan and havent had any issues. Sure service is a bit expensive, but I much rather get treated like a human being than just another joe on the street. The manager somehow knew I was in service and asked me about leasing a new one. While my car was in service i was pretty much sold on my new car. I did put down a little more than I expected to, but I got into a newer coupe, with navigation for the same price. All in all, I had a good expierence. more

Typical used car dealers 10/24/2010

It started off well - nice place, gourmet coffee, nice car, fair price.......all was well and I look at the paperwork: $995 FOR PREP FEE??? They did not mention that. A really sleazy thing to do. But the price was still good and we were there - so we bought the car! I should have known better. When I go to pick it up, it was not prepped! They could not locate the proper color paint and had to order it. They never call me and a month later they realize they never ordered it. They tell me to get it and I will be reimbursed. I order it online and get it quickly - something they could have done. But they never reimburse me the $18 for the paint and $13 for an antenna that was missing. I sent in the receipts to Victor Niosi, the manager, he tells me the check is in the mail but I never got it it. And now he no longer returns my phone calls. Fortunately it was not a lot of money, but imagine if it was real money - I would have a big fight on my hands. If they are going to treat me like junk over $31, what are they going to do if you have a big problem in your $50k Infiniti? Definitely ignore you more. I contacted the BBB and the NYC Dept of Consumer Affairs - I even told them I would. If they are not going to resolve a nominal problem to keep a customer happy, they will probably not help if a big one comes along. My money is good anywhere. I am sure you can find a better dealer who wants your business! more
