Circuit City is the one of 3 electronics stores on East 86th street.
This store is good to come to if you already know what you want and have done your research. That's because, out of the 3 (Best Buy, PC Richard, Circuit City), it has the WORST customer service and sales help.
It's virtually impossible to find an associate, and somehow, no matter who you find, it's never their job to help you. Even when the rare one does, he never seems to know much about their merchandise, so you're on your own.
They have a decent TV selection, but make sure you comparison shop. Or, wait for one of their big sales to get a good price.
They're best for cameras and accessories, VCR/DVDs, and video games.
Best bet is to stick with Best Buy if you're looking for electronics.

This is the best place to biy or service your Mercedes-Benz. The service advisors are waiting for you when arrive, standing in the entrance with mobile laptops to address your needs quickly and get you on your way there was no waiting ime to bring in the car and they had a loaner available as well. Years ago the service wasn't perfect but it is now.

Either I seem to have the worst luck or this location just never haves the right items stocked. It's also difficult to get someone who knows anything about cars to help. The staff just seems to know how to stock shelves but very little on cars themselves. There is a wide selection of items here but if you're looking for something particular, you may have a problem finding it.

This Best Buy is weirdly organized. Every time I go there I always stumble into the returns area in a desperate (and it often seems futile) attempt to find the check out -- this can't really be a good sign, can it? I also notice they tend to sell out of new DVD releases really quickly (so if you're a big geek and you need something the day it's released, call them first or go to a different one).

I went there for an auto inspection. I would not recommend. They will find something to fail you to make the repair cross-sell. When I told the manager what my shop had said about the issue, he went out of his way to insult me (and said from the looks of me I would authorize a shoddy repair). I was amazed! Perhaps they cannot help themselves, but there are far better places than this.

Their hourly mechanic rate is $108 per hour! My brother is an MD and doesn't make that much! My inspection yielded a $2,700 quote and afterwards a solid non-dealer mechanic quoted me $500. If you want to pay outrageous rates, this is your place!
Cons: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
