I've lived in 301 E. 47th St. for 2 years now and have had a multitude of problems. Repairs don't get done in a timely matter, and when they are completed the quality is amateur at best. The manager of my particular building has switched so many times in the past 2 years since they keep hiring people who are incompetent. This resulted in poor communication between myself and the management company (i.e. I was told one thing and something completely different actually happened). They take a month or more to cash rent checks. Now that my lease is up, they have refused to send me the security deposit and honor contracts that they have committed to claiming that I never actually had a lease. They also refused to give me any interest gained on the deposit which, according to NYC law, I am entitled to.
Pros: The doormen are great
Cons: nasty cust. service, incompetent, not friendly
