I was blown away by the service I received from Taj at Gotham Bikes. I started my search online, but the bike I wanted had to be ordered through the store. When I called and they ...

These guys are good - if you're a pro. But for basic questions and to the uninitiated, they're not the most helpful, verging on rude. First time I went in the store, I got passed ...

gotham bikes BAD 7/8/2010

HORRIBLE EXPERIANCE with the manager or owner, Im not sure what he was but I am sure he wasn't even a cycleist. I believe he lied to me about my bike being checked out by a Cannondale rep. He said the rep showed up ten minutes after I left and said my bike wasnt under warranty but he would be happy to sell me a new one. After swimming through his "BS" for five minutes I had enough of his nonsence and retrieved my bike to be worked on else where. Save youself the wasted time money and energy, shop somewhere else! gotham bikes SUCKS! more

This store is absolutely packed to the gills with everything you could possibly need for you bike. They have bikes for all of your needs: racing, cruising, training...even just bikes to rent. The friendly and knowledgable staff will help you select the bike of your needs, and help you place any special orders. They have their own bike team, and take their biking very seriously. A very professional shop. more

Gotham Bikes = BAD 8/18/2005

Gotham bikes is a bike shop in tribeca. And like any other shop in tribeca it is as expected overpriced. Gotham bikes is not only overpriced but they are cheaters. One time I went in there and I asked to get a bike chain but on. They said it costed ten dollars for the chain and 15 for the maintenece and this is after I had just spent over a 70 dollars there for tires amd rims. My freind got a tune up there that ended up costig over 150's dollars. Now does that sound fair to u. NO. If u think ur bike is breaking down and u see this bike shop aviod it at all costs. more

While New York City may not be biker-friendly, this well-stocked shop is. A policy of lifetime tune-ups, along with a helpful attitude, keeps Gotham's customers coming back....
