The Beacon is a great place to see a show. It gives you a cozy feeling, like its only holding a hundred people or so, but it attracts great names (like the Allman Brothers for two weeks every March!!!)
The orchestra section has mostly assigned seats, but there are a few general admission seats and people come down and sit all over ther aisles up front.
Good beers, and full bar available.
You can get away with smoking inside most of the time, but there are designated areas if they get stricter...

I have managed to peek in before many of the parties start, and this place does things right. Everything from flowers to chandeliers to mini bars are rearranged to meet your desires.
It is very expensive to have an event here, but if you get invited to one...do not pass up the opportunity.
This is one of the most gorgeous places I have seen in the city.

There is NEVER anyone here. I have caught many a premier here, and have always arrived at the theater 10-15 minutes prior to the start, with no trouble getting a ticket.
The stadium seating is very comfortable. There are not as many screen as there once were, but still no problem getting in.
I hope everyone continues to stay away!!!

The beds and rooms are very nice. The residence is located just a few blocks from the main strip of Calistoga, in wine country. The prices are similar to just about every other B&B in the area.

But wait until you try Lana's cooking...WOW!
She runs cooking classes out of her home. They were a bit pricey for me, but after tasting her cooking, I may sign up next time I am out there...

I hate talking about, dealing with and paying insurance. But since I have to, I deal with Mr Geoghan and his freindly team. I had car insurance with them for 8 years prior to my move to Manhattan, and they helped keep the costs down as much as possible.

This is not a top-of-the-line hotel. This is a nice hotel, with European characteristics. Unassuming on the outside, and simple but contemporary on the inside.

Located in Union Square, this is nice and close to the Financial District and Moscone Center.
The rates are cheaper than most of the other hotels in the area, because it is a simple place, lacking only luxury accomodations.
Some of the older rooms hare a bathroom, so just ask for a private bathroom, and you will enjoy a wonderful stay.

Reasonable ticket prices allow you to get here more often.

They ended up gving me a much nicer one that they had in the store just to keep me happy, which I would consider a good business practice. I would hope you get that kind of service everywhere.

I promised my wife some fancy shows for my brother's wedding...and boy was I surprised when she took me here. This place has some cool-looking stuff. Sandals, mules, stilettos, flats, salon...

I am still not sold on how comfortable alot of these shoes are, but they sure stylish.
