Gentle Touch Laser Hair Removal

Wow such a great change! I have been a client for hair removal about a year ago and I had really great results for my bikini and legs ( never did my underarms then ). I received a newsletter from them about two months ago promoting their new lasers and the new procedures they offer. I was sent a free laser facial offer and decided to try it out two weeks ago. They also announced a ""re-facing"", which I was curious to see. When I first was treated their rooms were a little to ""medical"" as in dull and boring. When I came in I was very surprised, it is a more vibrant image and very clean and modern. They also are offering new services, which I received a laser facial and really enjoyed. I understand it takes a few more treatments which I plan to return to do. Was also given a patch test on my underarm which I have already seen the hairs fall out, so I plan to return to purchase a package for. My girlfriend was doing her treatments for laser hair removal at this center in Midtown. She has had really great results and pushed me to get my back done. I didn't find it necessary but since she bugged me so much ( and bought me a package ) I decided to give it a try. My first impression of this center was that they are very professional and take their business very seriously. I was thinking this was just a simple process but there is a lot to it. They explained that there are so many places out there doing ""laser hair removal"" but not everyone uses the best or up to date technology. I had no clue what any difference was. I began my treatments 6 months ago and I am very impressed with how well it really works. Every appointment I feel really great leaving because Regina is so sweet, not saying the other technicians aren't but she is my favorite. I am very pleased with the whole procedure and so is my girlfriend. Also since my girlfriend referred me they gave her an underarm package as complimentary, I assume its part of a referral program they have. After loosing 37 pounds in the last 4 months I wanted to take a step towards being hair free. Now that I had myself on a healthy track, I wanted to do something for myself. I always hated shaving as well as my ""little mustache"". I spoke to my trainer at my gym and she recommended Gentle Touch Laser. She has been a clients for about 4 months prior to my treatments and was very please with her treatments. She showed me her underarms and they were so smooth. I called for some information, not intending to schedule an appointment but after speaking with Mark I felt so comfortable committing to a consultation. He explained everything about lasers, skin type and specific lasers, protocol of treatments and what to expect. No other center did any of the sort. I came in two days later and met with him and the technician, both very knowledgeable about hair removal. I have done treatments on my back. My girlfriend surprised me with a package for my birthday, she didn't like my hairy back. I just finished my treatments two weeks ago and I am very happy to see no hair at all. At first I didn't believe it would work but after a few sessions I really saw a huge difference. It is actually a pretty easy process and doesn't take much time. I really liked this office because my technician was very friendly and it is very clean. So pleased with my results I wish everyone would just try laser! Shaving was the most annoying part of my day. I hated the time I spent in the shower. Use to wax when I was younger but now I just don't have the time. I was referred to Gentle Touch by my doctor which I receive Restalyne injections from. She really spoke highly of them, probably because she is treating with them as well. So I initially came in around lunch time. They were busy so I actually was fortunate to meet with the owner. Very nice, young and intelligent individual. He explained laser to me from A to Z. It was actually quite interesting. During my consult I also meet my technician and they showed me how the laser worked on his chest. I was amazed how the hair just popped out. I was hooked and started that day. I am about half way through my treatments and my experience is just as great as my results. Always able to book appointments late evening or during lunch. So happy with my decision to have gone with Gentle Touch. First I want to point out that I called many places before I actually received proper information about laser hair removal just over the phone. Other places didn't even know what type of laser they were using. There was one place but they were way to expensive. I spoke to a gentlemen over the phone and his knowledge about lasers was incredible. He gave me a website to do my own research on, which I did and confirmed everything he told me. I booked a free consultation the following day during my lunch hour. I came in and met a very friendly technician Regina, who now does my treatments, and was very comfortable having her start my treatments that day. I started with my underarms and bikini area (won't go into to much detail). I am now on my fourth treatment with her and my results are just fantastic. I honestly didn't believe that all the hair could just stop growing. The technology available is unbelievable. One thing I want to point out is that it is not completely pain free but Regina's technic is very comforting. Now that I have seen real results I am going to invest in laser for my legs. Gentle Touch is a real laser center that specializes in just laser cosmetics. I went to a few other places before deciding to start with this center but most places were salons that did hair and nails. When calling other places they would push me off to someone else to answer my questions or just tell me the technician wasn't in to speak to me and just to book an appointment. I didn't want a place that just did it on the side but a company that specialized in laser. Just speaking to the person who answered the phone was enough for me to know that this center was a group of specialists. I basically had a phone consultation that answered all my questions. Now, about 8 months later, I am completely hair free and plan to start my underarms and arms. I first did my legs and bikini which I am so pleased with everything. The only one complaint is trying to make an appointment the same day. They are very busy during evening hours, when I mainly like to book but then again I have a crazy schedule and can't really book in advance. Started my laser hair removal 6 months ago with Michelle and I am having my bikini and underarms treated. I also want to do my legs but want to see how these areas turn out when I am finished. The bikini and underarms are most important to me because I tend to visit the beach almost every weekend during the summer. So far I am pleased with the whole process, the technician is very friendly and the pricing was very affordable. I opted to purchase a package that included their guarantee. Main reason I chose laser was because I wanted the hairs completely gone. My results so far are as expected. The hair is coming back very slowly and in very small amounts. I had a great treatment last week with Gentle Touch laser. I decided to have a leg treatment to start with and I will see how my results are before I decide to do more but other than that I was happy with my consultation and the staff. I was quoted a very affordable price for a single treatment compared to some other places. I also like the info I found on the laser they use. It is a laser that is able to treat all skin types and I read it is even safe if I am tan. A few things I noticed that separate them from the competition: They are not a fancy spa but a medical office, which I feel is more professional. The staff is very educated about the services they provide and don't try to push you off to someone else to answer your questions when you call. The owner was on site and I was able to speak to him. Pricing for the system they use is very affordable. I agree with the review below that it isn't a fancy looking spa but I feel more comfortable knowing they have good machines and trained staff so I will actually get the results I am expecting (don't judge a book by it's cover). I started my hair removal treatments about 8-9 months ago for the removal on my back. I was very comfortable with this center from the beginning and I am very happy with my results. I no longer have hair on my back, which is what I was expecting to see when finished. Now I am debating if I want to do my chest but my wife actually likes it but I like the look of smooth skin now I see my back. Laser hair removal is something I have been thinking about for a long time. I am a young male and I wasn't sure if laser was something for guys and finding out it is for everyone I wanted to start removing my hair from my back and neck immediately. I enrolled in gentle touch's full body hair removal program. You can have you whole body treated for a low monthly fee. I did my first treatment with only my back and after that I added the back of my neck. I have done a total of four treatments and the hair is super thin and hardly there. I plan to add my upper arms next time I make my appointment. The staff is very nice and always accomodates my busy schedule. After having a terrible experience at another place downtown, which they were using an IPL machine which is not a laser but a different type of machine (can't remember how they explained it but you can google it). Gentle Touch is a perfect name for this center! Growing up I always had extended sideburns and felt very embarrassed. My ethnic background is East Indian and I wouldn't say I have to much hair than normal but my sideburns is a feature I feel women should have. I came to Gentle Touch and honestly sat for about an hour with the technician and owner before I decided to have the treatment, I was so nervous to have them shave my face because I always used to bleach but once the owner had the tech run the laser on his neck I was sold. He is a very funny guy as well because it said it pinched a little but when she treated my face I didn't feel a thing. We picked on him for a little while after, haha! After doing my initial consultation with Suzanne about a year ago, I bought a brazilian and ulip package which included their guarantee. I only got throught two treatments when I had a family emergency and had to move back to San Diego for almost a year to take care of a family member.
